Chapter 11

Anastasia Cullen had never felt so relaxed than she had in his arms that night, despite being a vampire her sleep had been wonderful, she was aware of what was happening around her but she knew if anything were to happen to her mate she'd be up straight away.

But still sleeping had been amazing, the feeling of waking up in her mates arms gave her a feeling of love and she adored it.

As she slowly woke up she heard Charlie talking to Bella, instead of opening her eyes she just moved slightly and relaxed into him more.

"I told you she'd only get you hurt" Bella mumbled as she in the chair next to his bed, this only made Ana tense thankfully Charlie noticed and gently ran his hand down her arm gently.

"She is not the reason I'm in here Bella, please stop, I do not know why you don't like her but I love her so stop" he mumbled
"Charlie your in here because a man similar to her hurt you all because your with her" she mumbled

That one line made the woman sit up quickly and glare at the girl next to them
"I am not the danger to him, you are, that vampire only went after Charlie because he heard you muttering about hurting him would hurt me" she growled loudly as her eyes flashed black
"Get out Bella before you leave through the fucking window" she mumbled

She flinched slightly when she was pulled back into his chest but sighed softly when she realised it was him.
"Bella I think it's best of you leave for now, maybe go and call your mother" he mumbled
Before she could even say anything she looked at the glare on Charlie's face and instantly left.

She slowly felt her face being turned until she was looking into the eyes of the man she loved. She was well aware that her eyes were jet black but she had no control over it.

"Beautiful" he whispered softly as he stroked her cheek gently as he hummed softly running his finger over her lips gently before he gently pulled her into him and kissed her gently.

She gasped softly as she felt the sparks run from her lips all the way through her body, as she froze feeling his lips on hers, this only made him pull away in concern.

He looked at her "darling" he whispered as he looked up at her, she slowly looked down at him "I'm sorry I just couldn't not kiss you anymore" he mumbled.

She moved slightly so her legs were on either side of him as she was sat in his lap
"God I love you but shut up" she mumbled as she grabbed his face gently and smashed her lips against his. He smiled into her as he wrapped his arms around her tightly and kissed her deeply and lovingly, both of them gripping onto each other.

After the stressful day they had both had this comforted them allowing them feel and know that they were there and they were together.

As she slowly pulled away and laid her forehead on his she couldn't help but smile at him "I love you" she whispered softly
He smiled at her "I love you too" he mumbled as he pecked her lips again gently.

She felt his growl as the door opened and in walked his friends and the wolves, all of them froze as they looked at the position they were both in.

"Should we come back later" Billy smirked
"Yes" Charlie growled at the same time that she mumbled a small no, making all of them chuckle.

She smiled a little "I'll give you more kisses later baby I promise, your friends are worried about you" she whispered and moved off of his lap to sit next to him again.
"Our friends" he mumbled looking at her before he grabbed her hand gently before he looked to their friends.

All of them in that room were thankful that Charlie was alive, seeing the distress on Anas face just hours before made all of their hearts break, they never wanted to see her in that position ever again, but looking at them now all of them were happy for the two mates, anyone with brain cells could tell that these two people belonged together, that their love was so pure anyone who messed with either of them would face the wrath of the other.

As Ana laid next to the man she loved surrounded by their friends she couldn't help but feel at peace, she has the most amazing man as her love, the most amazing friends and family but most of all her mate was one hundred percent alive and well which she was happy about.

As Charlie sat around laughing with his friends he began to realise just how perfect this all was, with the woman he loved in his arms he felt like he could take on the world.

they all sat around for hours talking and smiling until Carlisle walked in to check on Charlie and asked everyone to leave the room even his sister. However before she could go anywhere Charlie grabbed her quickly "she stays" he mumbled as he squeezed her hand tightly.

The doctor smiled and nodded a little as he began to check over all of Charlie's wounds, when he eventually got to the deep wound on his leg that made him loose so much blood the female vampire tensed as she looked at it "hey it's okay baby I'm fine" he whispered softly as he stroked her hand gently.
Carlisle ran his hand over the wound gently to check that it didn't bleed and when it didn't he smiled "I'll give you some pain medicine but if all is well you should be able to leave in the morning" he smiled
"Thanks doc" he mumbled

Ana watched as Carlisle gave him some pain medicine and smiled a little as it kicked in and watched the sleepy smile of her love.

"Come lay with me" he mumbled as he opened his arms to her.
She smiled softly and carefully crawled into his arms and sighed softly as she laid her head on his chest and listened to his heart beat.

In that moment both of them knew that they would love each other until the end of time, but little did they know, things were about to test their love, hopefully their love outweighs all the bad things in life.
