Chapter 5

They all stayed relaxed for hours as they watched football, every now and then Ana would open her eyes and look at the tv but mostly she just stayed relaxed into Charlie.

That was until the door went, she smiled a little as she stood up and walked to the door and opened it seeing Alice there who hand her some books before speeding away just before the pizza came.

She payed for the pizza and smiled slightly as she carried the two boxes into the living room and put it on the table "enjoy boys" she smiled a little as she sat on the arm of the chair and relaxed again before Charlie paused the tv making the two other men groan slightly and looked toward him but he ignored them and looked to the woman next to him and held out the small pizza to her "I made sure to order a vegetarian pizza for you" he mumbled

Billy looked towards them and frowned knowing she couldn't eat the food but he watched as she smiled anyway.

She looked at him and smiled softly "your so sweet Charlie" she whispered softly as she grabbed it off him "thank you" she mumbled as she opened the pizza box and smiled looking at it before she took a piece out and hummed softly as she started to eat it.

Billy frowned as he looked at her for a second making a note to ask her later.

She hummed as she ended up eating most of the pizza before she put the box onto the coffee table and giggled loudly as the boys started cheering about a goal being scored before she felt Charlie chuckled
"You have pizza sauce on your face" he mumbled as she quickly sat up and wiped her face missing the exact spot it was in "is it gone" she mumbled and watched as he shook his head, his smile never disappearing. He slowly reached up and wiped the sauce from her face making her breath catch in her throat as she looked at him.

Unbeknownst to themBilly watched the scene unfold, he was stunned that he had just watched a vampire eat almost an entire pizza and he saw no discomfort on her face at all while she did. He watched them with a small smile on his face, he had no idea what this was but for some reason he couldn't bring himself to hate the Cullen girl.

She giggled softly as she looked down at Charlie and hummed softly "thank you" she smiled at him before she stood up "I'll clean up, enjoy the rest of your game boys" she smiled and took the pizza boxes outside to the bins before she skipped to the freezer and took her ice cream out and sat on the counter as she ate it.

It wasn't long before billy wheeled himself into the kitchen and looked at her "how are you eating human food" he mumbled making her jump slightly having been too busy thinking about Charlie to notice anyone.
"I..he's my soulmate, in your world hes the equivalent to my imprint" she smiled softly "a soulmate is the purest bond any creature can ever have, as a result of that due to him being human I get some of the things he can do, so far I can only eat food but as time goes on I'll be able to do more and more human things" she smiled at him
"Does this in anyway harm Charlie" he mumbled
She shook her head quickly "if it did I wouldn't be near him, even thinking about hurting him makes me want to rip myself apart" she mumbled
He looked at her for a second before he nodded "your very different Anastasia cullen and I believe that's a good thing" he mumbled before going back into the living room.

She smiled a little and stayed sat on the counter for a few more minutes until the game ended and the three boys came back into the kitchen each of them looking at her as she ate her ice cream, she looked up and froze slightly "what" she mumbled making Charlie chuckle "nothing I've just never seen anyone enjoy ice cream as much as you right now"
She shrugged "it's the love of my life" she smiled making Jacob chuckle loudly.

She looked up at the clock and blinked "oh it's getting late would anyone like a ride home" she smiled making all the boys shake their heads
"Billy is going to sleep in the guest room while jacob sleeps on the couch" he mumbled
She nodded a little "enjoy the rest of your night boys" she smiled at them as she went to leave when she was pulled back hard enough for her to gasp but as she looked up into the familiar deep chocolate eyes she was growing to love she smiled she just laid her hands on his chest "may I help you chief swan" she whispered softly
"It's late I'm not letting you drive now, you can take my bed and I'll sleep in the arm chair" he mumbled
"Charlie I have no clothes to sleep in plus I'm so much smaller than you that I should be the one sleeping in the chair" she mumbled

For just over twenty minutes Billy and Jacob watched as the two fought over who was going to
Sleep in the chair and they carried on fighting until Bella walked down the stairs "both of you just sleep in the bed" she mumbled as she grabbed some pizza before going back upstairs smiling slightly as she looked at her dad smiling, finally happy he was finding someone to love.

They both looked at each other and smiled neither finding a reason to say no to that. So Charlie guided her up to his room and looked around "it's not much" he mumbled

She looked around the room and smiled there were work papers all over his bedroom desk, his bed was neatly made, his clothes were hanging in his wardrobe and all the room smelled exactly like him and she loved it. She watched as he walked over to his clothes and pulled out a large jumper and handed it to her.

She smiled softly "thank you" she whispered softly as she walked to the bathroom and changed into the jumper which she immediately decided to steal because of how much it smelled like her mate, it made her feel safe and secure. She walked back to his room and looked at him and smiled as he was now in a old police T-shirt and pyjama pants.

She sat on the edge of his bed and looked at him "can I tell you something" she whispered softly, he looked over at her and nodded "I've never done anything like this before, the dates or anything, I'm an old soul and wanted to wait to do everything with the person I could see my life with" she whispered softly making Charlie smile a little
"So I was your first date" he mumbled and she nodded a little which made him smile a little more before he pulled her into his arms and kissed her head.
"I'm glad" he whispered softly "I'll do everything to make you feel safe, secure and happy" he mumbled sleepily before he eventually fell asleep holding her in his arms.

She smiled as she laid her head on his chest and closed her eyes staying like that for the entire night just listening to his heart and his breaths making sure she stayed alert just in case something came to hurt her make but it never did.

"You already make me feel all those things Charlie Swan" she muttered into his chest a few hours later making him tighten his arms around her in his sleep.

Charlie swan had never felt more content in his life, he'd spent the night with people he cared about deeply, his daughter was finally home, Jacob had taken a liking to Ana and Billy had overcome his dislike for the girl over the few hours they'd spent together. He absolutely adored that this girl got along so well with all the people he cared for and as his mind wandered he couldn't think of a time he'd ever felt like this not even when he was with Renee.

Ana laid in his arms all night until Charlie's alarm went off which is when she relaxed and made herself seem like she was asleep in his arms. He looked down at her and smiled before he carefully moved her until she was on the pillows and walked into the kitchen and looked around before Billy came out.

"You look lost" he chuckled lookinu up at his friend
"I want to make her breakfast but I don't know how to cook anything other than bacon and she's a vegetarian" he mumbled
Billy smiled at him "come here I'll help you make pancakes for her"

Both the men spent a little while making the pancakes and both of them smiled as the cullen lady walked into the kitchen still wearing Charlie's jumper her jeans from yesterday.

She sat down at the at the table and looked at them as they put the pancakes in front of her "thank you boys" she smiled as she says her pancakes and talked to them both before her phone pinged, once she had looked at it she sighed softly as she stood up "I'm sorry I have to leave, seems one of sons is being a little idiot" she smiled as she kissed Charlie's cheek and patted Billy's shoulder.

Both the men watched her leave each thinking different things. Charlie watched the woman leave and wanted to rush after her and pull her into his arms so she could never leave again. And Billy watched her leave and then watched the sad expression on his friends face and made a vow right then and there to do anything to protect his best friend even if it meant allowed a vampire onto his lands, but somehow deep down he knew that this Cullen would never harm anyone, especially not
People that Charlie cared for.
