Handsome Bastard

The Next Morning.

Bones wakes up to some movement. He opens his eyes to find Carolynn running out of their shelter. He follows the girl, only to find her gagging and coughing.

"Hey. Lynn." Bones says and advances towards her.

After a few moments, Carolynn seems to be a bit better.

"Are you okay?" Bones asks recieving a glare from the girl.

"I'm having the urge to puke, but nothing's coming out since I'm practically empty stomached." Grumbling about her issues, and Bones listening to it patiently, the both go back into the cave.

Spock seems unmoved with all the movements.

Bones crouches down beside him and tries to wake him up. "Spock. Spock, wake up damn it!"

"I'm entirely concious doctor." Spock says opening his eyes.

Both Bones and Carolynn release a breath of relief.

"I'm simply contemplating the nature of mortality." Spock adds.

Carolynn leans on the wall and crouches down to sit beside Spock on his right. Bones joins Spock's left side.

"Feeling philosophical, huh? Massive blood loss will do that to you." Bones says sighing.

Carolynn was listening to their conversation but soon, drifts off to sleep.

Location Change

Chekov and Jim are trying to find their crew members. They both jump off a boulder and land on another.

"How far are we from the coordinates of that call?" Jim asks.

"Still away, Sir." Chekov says.

Jim is lingering behind Chekov, watching his steps carefully when Chekov calls out to him and turns back, "Captain."

"Yeah?" Jim responds with a raspy voice.

"When did you begin to suspect her?" Chekov asks.

And in that very few moments, The Enterprise's entire crews faces flashes in front of Jim. Most importantly, Carolynn's; the girl he loves and got married to.

The Captain looks down in silent agony. "Not soon enough." He replies and walks past the young boy.

"How did you know?" Chekov question again.

"Oh. I guess you could say I got a good nose for danger." Jim says jumping off a boulder to a smaller one.

Chekov chuckles at his reply as he jumps off the boulder too.

Once the men are on the smaller boulder, they hear noise of some trap setting off. Jim looks down at his feet and shakes his head in annoyance. "Run!" He orders, but they get glues in place before they could escape. Everything except their mouths get glued in place.

After seems like ages, they hear movement gradually coming towards them. And suddenly from nowhere, a white skinned alien girl appears, a weird sword like weapon in hand; behind her was a Starfleet officer in a Red Tshirt.

"Captain!" Calls out Montgomery Scott, the Engineering Chief.

"You know of these men?" The girls asks turning back towards Scotty.

Scotty walks past the girl and towards where Jim and Chekov are glued in place.

"Aye, Lassie." Scotty says.

"That wee man there is Pavel Chekov." He says pointing towards the boy, who replies with a muffled "Hello".

"And that handsome bastard is James T. Kirk." Scotty introduces.
