"Lynn? Hey, Lynn. Wake up." Bones says stirring Carolynn a bit.

"We gotta move." He says as the girl opens her eyes.

"No." Carolynn replies with pleading eyes.

"We can't sit here all day, right? We have to find the crew." Bones says, to which, the girl nods her head.

The three head out. Bones helping an injured Spock to walk. Bones keeps trying to communicate to The Enterprise, but no help.

After walking for what seems like ages, Bones leans Spock on one of the rocks. Carolynn too lets her body's weight upon a boulder.

"McCoy, Spock and Pike to Enterprise crew. Come in Enterprise crew." Bones says. "Anyone!" He adds, but yet again, nothing happens. No one replies.

Bones sighs and closes his communicator. He pockets the thing and says, "Come on, Spock."

Bones helps him off the rock. "Come on. You can make it."

Carolynn too joins the men. Her head spinning, body trying to give away, but she holds herself up with the minimal willpower that is left in her.

"Leaving me behind will significantly increase your chances of survival." Spock says making Carolynn roll her eyes.

"Shut up, Spock. That is absolutely and completely out of question." Carolynn says in frustration.

"It is imperative that you locate any surviving crew." Spock says.

"Here I was thinking you care." Bones replies.

Carolynn cracks a small smile, which later on falls down when, the tiny enemy ships from before appear in the sky. Them locking targets onto the Starfleet officers.

"Of course I care, Leonard." Spock says the three continue to breath heavily.

"I always thought my respect for you was clear.." Spock begins to say his farewell.

'this is it. He never got to know about his child.' Carolynn thinks.

She closes her eyes, waiting on the impending death of her and her unborn child. Soon, she feels being transported somewhere. Her insides start turning making her feel like puking.

The next thing she knew, she was standing on the transporters pad on a Starship?

She looks up and is met with a pair of blue eyes. Time stills as the Captain rushes towards his wife.

He greets his wife with a tight hug, as if it were any loose, he'd lose her again.

"Oh my God." He mutters. "I love you." "I love you so much." He showers her with a few soft kisses on her neck. "I thought I lost you. I was so scared, Baby." He says. His voice soft and clouded with emotions.

"I love you too, James. I-" she pauses and then continues, "I thought we lost you too." Carolynn's voice breaks. She breaths in and out heavily and nuzzles her head into the crook of her neck.

Jim too keeps on breathing her scent it. Not worrying over why his wife just said, 'we'. Maybe she's talking about Spock and Bones.

Her teary eyes widen when she sees Spock faint due to blood loss.

"James, Spock. He's hurt." She says.

Jim breaks the hug and rushes to help Spock. They take him into the mess hall.

Jaylah brings out some medical supplies for Bones to use.

Carolynn grabs the jacket Scotty hands her. Her head spinning. She folds it, fluffs it up and hands it to Jim. He helps Spock lie down on the sofa. "Lie down. Come on." He says.
