A Date with Destiny Part 1

Sully was pacing back and forth in his apartment, nervously sweating and talking to himself, "Okay, when Mazzy comes in just ask her out. That's all you gotta do." The door opened soon after, and Mazzy walked in, causing the nervousness of Sully to rise. He walked over, and put his left arm on the table, "Hey, Maz. What's up?"

She smiled and replied, "Not much. Are you okay? You're sweating."

He shook his head fiercely, "I'm fiiiinnnne."

While he couldn't see, because of her bangs, he could tell she raised an eyebrow, when she said, "When you put emphasis on the I and N, you're probably not fiiiinnnne."

Whipping the sweat from his brow, "No I am fine. But how about we talk about you? Got any big plans tonight?"

"Yup."

Sully looked downcast, "Oh, really?"

She shook her head, "Yeah. Remember, we're all going to the play at the theater Luan and Benny are starring in."

Realization hit his eyes, as Sully nervously laughed, "Oh yeah. Of course." He used the back of his thumbs to point towards his room, "I'll just go get ready for that." He quickly left the room, leaving a confused Mazzy behind.

Sometime later, the group was at the theater, specifically the after-party after the play. Luna, Sam, Sully, and Mazzy quickly went over to Luan and Benny, with the oldest Loud saying, "Man, you guys rocked that play."

Sam added, "Yeah, you nailed it." She gave them a thumbs up.

Luan gave a wave of her hand and replied, "Awww, you're too kind."

Benny then joked, "But we didn't even have a hammer in the play." Luan laughed at this, but the others groaned.

After groaning, Mazzy told the group, "I'm going to get something to drink before this chuckle fest gets out of hand."

As she walked away, Sully looked at her longingly, with the other four giving him knowing looks. Luna was the first to speak, "So are you going to ask her out or what, dude?"

He turned to them and insisted, "I'm working on it. It's just hard to work up the courage, you know."

Sam nodded, "I know." She pointed to herself and Luna, "Me and Luna went through the same thing when we first started dating."

Luan added, by pointing to herself and Benny, "Me and Benny too. It's understandable. Sometimes you just gotta try and go for it."

Sully signed, "I know. You guys are right."

Benny then looked behind Sully and got a worried look, "Well, you better hurry before someone else tries."

The rest of the group turned around to see a man talking with Mazzy and making her laugh. The man had dark hair, caucasian skin, a red shirt, and black pants. Sully asked with irritation, "Who is that."

Luan explained, "He's Jimmy(OC). One of our fellow actors and well known for being good at picking up women."

Sully started freaking out, "What!" He started frantically waving his hands around, "We, we gotta do something!"

Sam asked, "Do you have a plan?"

He just looked down and signed, "No I do not."

Luna then told him, "We might be too late, dude."

Looking back up, Sully noticed Mazzy walking back over with a piece of paper in her hand. As she approached, Benny asked, "So, what was that all about?"

Mazzy shrugged a little, "Oh, that Jimmy guy was just talking to me. He's pretty funny." She showed them the paper, "He gave me his number."

Sully crossed his arms and began fidgeting as if he had just drank too much coffee, "Interesting. Interesting. So are you going to call him?"
