Friday Night

Serenity

I got in the shower and got lotioned up then put my outfit on once I finished getting dressed Dayvon texted me and said he was pulling up now. I grabbed my purse and made my way downstairs to open the door. Once I opened the door there he was standing at my door wit flowers.

Me - Thank you handsome let me go put these in water

I put my flowers in a vase and Dayvon walked me to his car and we pulled off to Aria. Once we got to the restaurant we went to our seats and ordered.

Dayvon - Yeah so I'm a partial club owner and I am a rapper I'm signed to my brother's label Only The Family

Me - Never is Durk your brother

Dayvon - Yeah he is well we close like brothers but I see you own a business I did my research on you

Me - Yeah I do and I plan on expanding my company sooner or later but let me guess your King Von aren't you because I listen to your music from time to time I love it

Dayvon - Damn thanks ma that means alot coming from you I thought you didn't like the hood type

Me - Nope I love the hood type but I would rather have a hood nigga that's put together not a leech and from my understanding you aren't one

Dayvon - Not at all growing up in Chicago I learned to be independent at a young age so my lively hood is at my expense

Me - Oh okay I think I am starting to like you Dayvon

Dayvon - Please call me Von

I smiled at him and he reached across the table and gently grabbed my hand. I felt a little flutter in my stomach and my smiled widened I don't know why so quickly but I feel something for him. He and I eventually finished our meals and he paid for everything then took me back home. He walked me to my doorstep and we stood there for a moment.

Dayvon - Well Ms. Jones I had fun tonight gettin to know you betta

Me - I had a really great time too

I smiled then glanced down and Von lifted my head up by my chin gently. He leaned in a gave me a kiss and of course I kissed back. His lips were so soft and it made my heart skip a beat. After a few minutes we pulled away to catch our breath and I went in and went to bed.

Next Morning

I woke up and brushed my teeth got in the shower and got dressed. I got my bag and everything together so I can make this last drop before we divided up the money. After making the last drop I drove to the Trap and Asian was there gathering the rest of the money I needed before going to Big T.

Asian - Hey daddy

Me - Wassup shawty you got everything I need

Asian - Yeah here I even made sure I had everything counted up the new shit Big T got coming in went out fast

Me - Just like we wanted

Asian - Yeah but umm enough about work when you gone let me throw it back on you again

Me - Asian whenever I get free damn you always ask that shit and I give you the same answer stop being so damn thirsty

I gathered up the money and put everything in my 'Cookies' book bag and got in the car and headed to Big T. Once I pulled up I knocked on the door and his wife answered and let me walked down to his office.

Big T - Wassup King

Me - Shit nun Pops came so drop off that shit for you

Big T - Ight let's get to splitting this up

We sat down and did the calculations and everything and split the money and more product evenly. After business was taken care of T sparked up and we sat down and started talkin.

Me - Yeah Pops ion know shawty just was somethin different then what I am used to but I like it it's like she is my type but I'm her own way

Big T - Yeah well females like that are hard to come by may be one day when I meet her I will like her for you

Me - You will but only time will tell

Big T - Yeah one thing I have always taught you was never wait for a great opportunity cause you never know what it can hold

Me - Every lesson you taught me I keep in my head never ignore advice cause you never know when you would need it

T smiled at me then we started talking about Serenity some more. Shawty built different ya know like her personality is amazing and vibrant just like her enthusiasm.

Me - Yes girl he paid in CASH

Lena - You know what you may have found the one hunny

Me - I feel like I did I really hope so cause this is only date one that we had

Amaya - Girl ya never know what you found in a man till years in to the relationship

Me - You not wrong at all

We all were at Red Lobster having our girls brunch since Friday's we are closed. I was telling them all about Von and our date last night. Something about dude just makes me feel alive you know like I will girl the treatment I deserve. Me and the girls basically spent our whole day together until I got tired and took my tired ass home. Once I got home I got dressed into my pajamas and I watched TV until I heard my doorbell ring. I walked over to the door and there was Von smiling with a bag in his hands.

Me - What ya got there

Dayvon - Snacks was wondering if you wanted to do a pop up date like watch movies and spend time together

Me - Of course come in

Von walked in and I popped us some popcorn as we sat and watched movies until I slowly fell asleep. He is such a sweet guy I hope things actually go good between us.
