El continues to try on outfit to outfit as Max goes around trying sunglasses. "How about these?" She asks. "You're cute." I say, grinning. "Hm, I guess not." She says, placing the ones she had down. El approaches in an outfit and twirls. "You like that?" I ask. She nods, grinning. "This one looks nice." She says.
We walked out of the shop. Max wearing her new sunglasses, El wearing her new colourful outfit and I was sporting a necklace Max got me. I'm loving the new atmosphere between us. Between El and Max. It is amazing. "Hey! There!" Max says, pulling me as I grab El's hand, dragging her with us to the Flash Studio. We all get taken apart into different rooms, getting given outfits. "Wardrobe change!" The photographer shouts from the picture area.
I walk out in a fancy outfit to be met with Max and El also wearing fancy outfits. They crack up as they look at each other before El points at me, laughing. Max turns and her eyes widen as she sees me, as do mine when I see her. Damn, she looks good. "Okay, that's it girls! Here we go." The photographer says as we pose, a hand under our chins. In the second picture, El leaned her forearms against Max's back as Max does the same to me and I use my hands to frame my face.
"Wardrobe change please, wardrobe change!" This time, the three of us did the flower under the chin pose, grinning widely as we do before switching with Max lower, El leaning on her head and I was leaning on El's head. "Shake it, shake it out for me!" The photographer says, shaking his head as we copy, messing our hair up.

Heels!
I hate them. Trying them though, is a ton of fun. El had never tried them before, so now we were helping her as she attempted to walk on them. She wobbles and wobbles as Max and I stand on either side, ready to catch her when needed if she falls to the side. Instead, she fell forward onto the floor, laughing and cracking up as the other teen girls around us looked at us like we're insane. I guess we are though. The girls roll their eyes, as if we care, and we just laugh, leaving the shop.
We did have a master plan though. We waited for those teen girls to get drinks and follow when we see her approach a guy. Max nods at me, so I nod at El, who closes her eyes, focusing intently. I didn't know exactly what she planned to do, but it became clear to me when suddenly one of the girl's drinks decided to explode everywhere....including the guy's face. We die from laughter as we turn, running to make an escape from our crime. "See? What did I tell you? There's more to life than just stupid boys." Max shouts as we run.
"You hungry?" I ask the girls as we walk. "I could eat." Max says. "I want something sweet." El says, gazing around. I grin, knowing the perfect place. "C'mon. Time to go sailing!" I say, running to Scoops Ahoy. We approach the counter where Steve is wiping down the bench. "Steeeeeeveeee" I say, watching as the teen looks up. "Y/N, Max, Eleven. What do you want?" He asks, nodding at us. "Don't worry. It's not movie day." Max says. "We want ice cream." Eleven says. "Good. You guys are actually helping me KEEP my job." Steve says before picking up an ice cream scooper and twirling it. "Alrighty-o. Flavours?"
"Strawberry." Max says. "I want....Vanilla." El says, grinning. "Can I have whipped cream?" El adds. Steve nods, moving to scoop the ice cream. "Add sprinkles on El's too." I say. He does, handing Max and El their Ice Creams before turning to me. "I want....(Fav flavour), please." I say. Steve nods, scooping it and handing it to me. "Strawberry, (Fav flavour), and Vanila with extra whipped cream and sprinkles." Steve says, recalling. We tend to just leave without paying because...well, Steve. He eyes El suspiciously. "Wait a second. Are you even allowed to be here?" Steve asks. I look over at the brunette, who looks over at Max, who eyes me as we all laugh and turn, running away again.
Finishing off the day with ice cream was a great idea. We walk out of the mall, licking our ice cream cones as the summer sun blasts into our faces. "Hey, Max. Can I try yours?" I ask. She nods, angling her cone so I can try. As I do, we hear oh so familiar voices from behind us somewhere. "That's ridiculous. Why can't I just mow old man Humphries' lawn?" The voice asks as we turn around. "He hasn't got that much." Lucas replies. "Yeah but- okay what if we just split it?" Mike asks. What are they on about? "Split with that? That doesn't even make sense." Lucas says as Max rolls her eyes. El sighs, marching over with determination, Max and I on her heels.
"Well isn't this a nice surprise." Max says sarcastically, eyeing the boys. Mike drops his bike, pointing at El. "What are you doing here?" He asks, surprised. El just shrugs and says "Shopping." Before licking her ice cream. "This is her new style. What do you think?" Max asks and I smile. "I think it's pretty cool. Don't you?" I ask Mike. "What's wrong with you?" Mike asks, pointing at Max accusingly. He would always blame her instead of me, probably because I've known him longer. "You know she's not allowed to be here." Mike adds, glaring at the redhead. I step in front of her, glaring back at the raven haired boy. He shrinks back into himself, scared. "What is she, your little pet?" Max asks him, putting her chin on my shoulder. "Yeah, am I your pet?" El cutely adds, repeating her last words.
"What? No!" Mike says, hurt. "Then why do you treat me like garbage?" El asks, hurt in her voice too. "What?" Mike asks, confused. El steps forward, upset. "You said Nana was sick." She states, seeing through the fake emotions that flash across his face. "She is. She is sick. She's sick." Mike repeats, very obviously lying. He even motions for Lucas' back up and the boy does help. "She's super sick, actually. That's why we're here." Lucas adds, nodding to Mike. "Yeah we're shopping...not for us, for Nana!" Mike says. "For Nana!" Lucas repeats. I mentally facepalm at their acting. Even Eleven can tell they're faking it. "Also...we're here to get a gift for you. Just...we couldn't find anything that suited you. And I only have, like, three dollars and fifty cents so, it's hard." He adds, looking down. "Super. Hard. It's expensive." Lucas adds.
Max and I stand in silence as we watch the brunette girl look at the boys, a frown on her face. She steps forward, looking her boyfriend in the eye. "You. Lie." She says, causing Mike to look guilty. "Why do you lie?" El asks, hoping for an answer. I hear bustling and turn my head, seeing the bus we're supposed to take. "Crap." I mutter. El looks over, seeing the bus before glaring at Mike, clearly not getting an explanation. She steps closer, face to face with him before speaking. "I dump your ass."
She walks away, leaving all of us, Max and I included, surprised. We literally had our jaws on the floor, which we quickly recovered from and followed the brunette, leaving the boys dumbfounded. We get on the bus, taking up a row and placing the shopping bags on a seat next to us before laughing together. "That was awesome." I mutter, high fiving them.
