It's just the avengers that are left "Sam pechen'ye?" He looks down at me "yes baby?" I look up at him and he's snuggled me in, "I'm going to go into something more comfortable since it's just this lot," he smiles and gives me a kiss on the cheek "on you go sweetheart I love you," I smile and give him a quick kiss "I love you too baby will be back soon." I get up and make my way up to the room, I feel someone grab my arm so I turn and punch them in the face and swiped their legs knocking them to the floor "wow Hope, it's me" I move back allowing him to get up "Steve what the hell you know not to sneak up on me, what do you want?" He stares at me "I just want to talk alone can we go out tomorrow?" I smile "sure, now if you excuse me I am going to get changed into something a lot more comfortable see you down there?" He smiles "see you down there." I turn and walk into my room and put on a pair of pjs and fluffy slippers, before heading back downstairs.

I walk towards Sam when I feel myself become dizzy and trip, I am grabbed and pulled back up before I hit the floor "you ok Hope?" I look to the friendly face "yes thank you Clint," he smiles "the dizziness stops soon here I will help you, just eat lots of meat," my face turns green the thought of meat makes me feel sick "hey there's other ways come let's get you to Sam think they will be telling stories soon," I look at him "oh no please tell me your joking ," we both laugh "theres my girl, you ok pequeña ave?" I nod he gets up and carries me to the sofa "come cuddle babe," I snuggle in "so Bucky you never told us why she got the nickname bubbles?" I glare at Bucky "if he values his life he won't tell you either tin can," they all laugh "definitely for your sweet and innocent bubbly personality." Sam kisses me on the forehead "unfortunately not may as well tell them the story Bucky," I look down "So she was about five and I was eight we where playing with bubbles she loved them, she was running after one and tripped over her own feet and broke her arm," he laughs I put my head in my hands.

"Clumsy even back then cupcake where you?" I look at Clint and laugh hiding the truth "I guess I was," we all laugh "how did Bucky get the nickname tank, baby?" I look at Sam my face went bright red "I honestly don't have a clue," not wanting to be reminded of another embarrassing story where I get embarrassed. "I remember that day" we looked to where the voice comes from "that is a memory I thought you would always remember," I glare at him "I have my memories back Loki and Wanda helped me I remember everything Peter Pan." The avengers starts to laugh "funny, but would you like to tell the story or will I?" My face goes even redder "since you lot want to embarrass me on you go Stevie boy?" He sits across from Bucky and grabs a beer "well she was about 13 Bucky was 16 and I was 15, she's always been faster than Bucky and me, we where sitting in the garden and she was doing the gardening when Bucky charged at her knocking her clean off her feet re-breaking her arm." He chuckled along with the rest of the team. I hide my face into Sam's chest he wraps his arms around me and rubs my back.

"Think we should stop embarrassing poor Hope, why  don't we tell story's about Sam as we have more stories about him?" Clint suggests "or how about we play a game?" I nod into Sam's chest at his suggestion, "I agree we can tell stories of munchkin and bird man at the wedding," Tony stands and goes to pour another drink and gets me an orange juice tapping my shoulder "here you go," he hands me a drink, "thank you T" he smiles "how about truth or dare?" Everyone groans at Steve "I think it will be fun," I smile at Steve "ok I'll start truth or dare Steve?" He looks up at Rhodes "truth?" Rhodes smiled "is it true that you tried to get with Peggy in the 40's but settled on Hope then again chose a Carter over her?" Rhodes knew Steve wanted to try get me from Sam. I looked at him tears in my eyes I never felt good enough for anyone and was terrified of his answer.

He looks down "well?" I am trying to hold back the tears Sam's arms are wrapped around me "yes, it started as trying to get Peggy to notice me" Bucky got up and launched himself at Steve but Tony grabbed him back "let him finish then we can kill him," but calmed a little seeing he was scaring me and sat beside me and Sam, I was crying never had I felt so used. I look at Steve to continue "after a while I fell hard for Hope, she was with Howard however, even before the serum she loved me, not caring the fact that I was short and fragile, I had the serum and that's when Peggy noticed me but I was in love with Hope we got married as we where looking forward to starting a family, when I went to rescue Bucky we returned she wasn't there." He looks down tears in his eyes "as for Sharon she was there after Peggy died she told me that it's always been Hope, when I went back to put the stones back I saw how miserable I was with Peggy and not Hope and was brought back to this time." I look down "you didn't come back for me as you didn't know I was here and if you really loved me, you would have told me about Sharon, and you would have fought for me instead of just giving me the signed papers."

I start to hyperventilate "pequeña ave calm down baby look at me I'm here." He wraps his arms around me snuggling me in, "Hope I'm sorry, that's all I can say baby, I gave you the papers because any idiot can see the love you have for Sam is more than you had for me or even Howard, even Sam loves you more than I could that's why," still struggling to breath Sam grabs me and kisses me making me relax and my breathing returns to normal "let's get you to bed sweetheart," I nod gently still shaking a little "Steve don't call me baby again, and I don't think we should go out tomorrow," he nods knowing that it would be to difficult for me. "Thanks for a great engagement party everyone and sour patch thank you for opening my eyes, Tank for introducing me to Sam, green bean for looking after me, point break for talking to your father, Legolas for your advice, thumbelina for being my friend, pirate for accepting me, witchy for helping me with my memory, reindeer games isn't here but they are an absolutely great friend and always  know how to cheer me up, wizard I don't know well but teaching me to control my teleporting and powers, red man for random the facts."

I see the hurt in Sam's and Tony's faces "forgetting some one?" Steve asked "capsile thank you for letting me be happy, pigeon for loving me the way I am and playboy thank you for being a father figure to me and forgiving me for the past, another question can we talk tomorrow about something?" He smiles kissing my head "of course we can munchkin now bed." I smile and Sam carries me to bed "good night everyone" they smile and wave goodnight.
