I was finally fully packed to run the next morning. I packed light, Robbie asked only to bring the essentials. It was hard to pick but I knew the few items I would want to bring and something from my mom. I looked at my wedding set on my finger and smiled. This was it, this was me and Robbie now. Marley and Harper said they would come to my apartment and pack up everything else and send it to us when we got a place. Robbie had already talked to someone about 2 places we had to decide once we got to Montana. I took a picture of my bag by the door and sent it to Robbie.
SCOUT: All packed 😉😘
ROBBIE: I still wish you would let me pick you up tomorrow.
SCOUT: Can't take a chance Robbie. I already stashed my car at Marley's so it looks like I'm not home. No one is watching if my car is missing and I will take a cab out in the morning.
ROBBIE: I love you Sweets, only a few more hours.
SCOUT: One more sleep alone then I get you all to myself forever. Well until babies come in to play.
ROBBIE: How soon?
SCOUT: Very soon Freezy. 😏😏
I put my phone away and I sighed getting ready for bed. I planned to sleep on the couch just so I could get up and go tomorrow. In the middle of the night I was awoken by my door being kicked in and 3 masked men coming in and rushing me. I tried to fight them off but there was no use and they hit me over my head knocking me out.

*****8AM THE NEXT MORNING*****
*****ROBBIE POV*****
I got the tickets to our destination and I was waiting in the café near our gate. I text Scout and got no response from her and I was praying she didn't oversleep, we had to go. I tried calling her cellphone. It rang a few times and then went to her voicemail.
"Hey! You've reached Scout. You must not know to text me honestly. So fine leave a message I guess." I heard her voice say and I smiled. I then heard the beep.
"Sweets, it's time to go. I pray you are on your way." I said and hung up. I called a couple more times and no answer. I finally broke down and called someone else.
"Hey, shouldn't you be getting on a plane with your wife?" Marley said.
"Yeah I should but she isn't here. Have you heard from her? She isn't answering her phone." I said and Marley groaned.
"I'll go to her place and call you back." Marley said and hung up. After about 15 minutes I got a call but not a normal call, a facetime.
"Mar?" I asked seeing her panicked face and she turned the camera so I could see Scout's apartment. It was completely destroyed.
"Robbie, her bag is still her, she isn't and there is dried blood on the floor. It looks like she was bleeding." Marley said as she showed me the apartment but I was already running out of the airport to get a cab to her apartment.
"I'm on my way Marley." I said and hung up.

Once I got to Scout's apartment and looked at everything I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
"So was the threat not over?" Harper asked. She had since shown up
"I don't know, I mean her dad said everything was clear. Why would he have said a threat was clear if it wasn't?" Marley said. I was silent, I didn't know what to say or thinking. I found her phone on the floor and I groaned seeing her and I as her lock screen. The girls looked at me.
"What do we go Robbie?" Marley asked and then looked at me. "Shit. I'm sorry." Marley said feeling like I was about lose it. She came over, hugged me and I did everything I could to compose myself. I needed to be strong to find her. Once we break apart from our hug I sigh.
"I know who I need to go see but I don't want to have to do this." I said and Marley groaned.
"We will go with you, trust me we really should." Harper said and Marley nodded.
"You're probably right." I said as we all left the apartment the way it was and went straight to see him. I thought about calling the cops but I knew better in situations like this, this was inside job. Being a snitch and calling the cops would get me killed. We all took my car and I drove to the pizzeria. I walked in ignoring all the other guys blocking doors and trying to stop me. I had my gun out pointing it at them, I meant business and would kill anyone in my way. Once I got to his office I just busted in. He groaned I saw he had a young waitress bent over his desk pounding into her as she cried.
"Get the fuck out." I told her and she ran out crying fixing her clothes. Harper went after her to check on her as Marley and I stayed in his office as Gino fixed his pants.
"Were you raping that poor girl?!" Marley asked.
"Don't let the tears fool you, she wanted to keep her job so she takes the consequences. Trust me Marley there were many times I wanted to bend you over this desk but because you were Scout's friend I refrained." Gino said and it took everything I had in me not to shoot him right then and there. I took a protective stance in front of Marley though. "Why are you here Pronge?" Gino asked.
"Where is Scout?" I asked.
"What are you talking about? She's home." Gino said and I shook my head. Marley pulled out her phone and showed him the pictures she took of Scout's apartment.
"The threat wasn't over Gino and you let her be alone! She shouldn't have been alone!" I yelled not caring anymore.
"I hadn't heard anything in weeks. I figured they gave up! I mean half of Julian's crew just got raided and is in prison." Gino said shocked.
"Well obviously the other half got her because she is gone! There was blood and they trashed her place!" I said pissed off. Gino then looked at me confused.
"I let you go, why do you fucking care if she lives or dies or who even has her for that matter?" Gino said.
"Because she is my wife, that's why!" I screamed and the room went silent and still. I finally heard Marley groaned annoyed I just blurted it out.
"Your what?!" Gino yelled.
"You heard me! Scout and I got married about a month and a half ago! When you let me go we were already married and had been for about 2 weeks." I said and his face just got redder and redder.
"So what Pronge did you go against rules and date her when you were supposed to be protecting her?" Gino asked.
"Obviously, I was doing both. I love Scout and I have since I laid eyes on her. We were planning on running this morning. Catching a plane and never coming back but she never showed up at the airport. We just want a life together and we will have it but I need to know where she is!" I yelled and pointed the gun I was hold at Gino.
"Robbie, stop. You shoot him you start an all-out war with no answers." Marley said and I put the gun down.
"I don't know where she would be Pronge but I will find her." Gino said.
"See you do. Just so you also know I don't care what kind of war it starts, whoever has her is mine to deal with." I said and Gino nodded.
"You do whatever you need to. She is no longer my daughter after this." Gino said and I nodded and left his office. I knew it was time to start getting in touch with some of my old contacts, the life I left and never wanted to be back to but for Scout I would do anything.
