Chapter 36:
Ace: when?
Gio: maybe a week after our wedding.
Ace: if that's what you want then go. I won't stop you, but just give me one favor.
Gio: what?
Ace: visit my father.
Gio: I will.
Tumalikod si Gio at umalis ng office. Hayyy naku nakakastress. Pumasok si Calgor sa loob at ibinigay sakin ang hinihingi ko sakanya na papel. Tinignan ko lahat ng iyon lahat pero kulang.
Ace: hey Calgor,
Calgor: yes?
Tumayo ako para habulin siya pero pagtayo ko, nakaramdam ako ng hilo. Hilong hilo ako na hindi ako makadiretsong tayo. Hanggang sa nanlabo ang panigin ko at hindi na rin ako makahinga. Anong nangyayare?
Calgor's POV
Ace: hey Calgor,
I think there's a problem.
Calgor: yes?
He stood up and walks toward me in a weird way. He looks like he's expereriencing pain.
Calgor: sir?
He puts his hands unto his chest. Shit! I approached him. and ask him if he's okay. He doesn't respond. Shit it's attacking again! Who do I call? Mr. Cameron? NO. Gio!
Calgor: GIO! GIO!
I screamed Gio's name outloud. Shit what am I going to do? What to do? What to do? I help myself to stand up at run for the door.
Calgor: GIO!
Finally I got his attention! I went back for Ace and now he's having a seizure. What the fuck!!!! Please!!!What am I going to do?
Calgor: GIO GET YOUR FUCKING ASS IN HERE!
He quickly kneels infront of Ace at opened the bottle he's holding. He withdraws two capsules and put it in Ace' mouth. A few seconds after, his body relaxes. A sudden relief rushes through my body.
Calgor: you have to do something.
Gio: get his keys to his car and help me.
Gio's POV
Umaatake nanaman. Kailagan ko na nga umaksyon. Dumating ang sasakyan ni Ace sa harapan ko at sumakay sa loob. Nagmadaling nagmaneho si Calgor. Tulog na tulog parin si Ace.
Gio: Calgor, drive faster please.
Halatang natataranta na rin si Calgor. Anong gagawin ko? kailagan kong gumawa ng paraan. Nakarating kami sa ospital at agad kong pinapunta si Dr. Montressor sa emergency room.
Doctor: Mr. Caturan, what we could do is an immediate MRI so that we could see how big is the tumor.
Pumayag ako. Inilagay si Ace sa isang stretcher at bago pa man siya ilipat sa MRI room, hinawakan ko ang braso ni Doctor Montressor para kausapin.
