Charlie's POV

We had just discovered Denby had a key, just like KT's.

Twins" What's this?"

Miss Denby" What do you think you're doing?"

We all freeze.

Miss Denby" I said, what are you doing?"

Eddie" You know what, caught me red-handed.I forgot to hand in my assignment.I was just trying to slip it into your bag"

Miss Denby"Hmm.Well, if you forget again, just tell me.I'm not a monster"

Eddie" Sure"

KT" The key, Eddie, Charlie you saw it right"

Charlie" Yeah, it was almost exactly the same as yours"

KT" How is that possible?"

Eddie" We need to find out more about Denby"

We decide to head over to The Gatehouse.

KT" That's where she lives?"

Eddie" Yeah"

Charlie"One of the geography teachers stayed here last year"

Eddie" Get down"

All three of us duck as Denby appears and begins to type in the code. Eddie holds his phone camera and zooms in.

Eddie" Didn't get the last one"

KT"So? It's not like we're gonna go in there"

Eddie and I look at KT smiling.

KT" We're going in there"

Eddie" Mm hmm"

KT looks very unsure.

Charlie" Come on KT where is your sense of adventure"

KT" I don't know""

Eddie" Okay, come on, if the key fits anywhere, it's gonna be in the Gatehouse, okay, I know it"

KT" So, what, we wait until she leaves and then sneak in?"

Twins" Now you're getting it"

That evening while the other students were either studying or chilling, my twin, KT and I were about to enter the creepy Gatehouse. We had seen Denby leave a few minutes ago, we waited for a while to make sure she was truly gone and then leapt out.

Twins" Okay, come on"

Eddie" Okay, hold on"

KT"Come on, we got to get in there"

Eddie" Okay"

Charlie" Well, what's the worst that can happen if it goes wrong?"

KT" Around here, we could go up in a puff of smoke"
