In the beginning....

before the six singularities and the dawn of creation, came the CELESTIALS. Arishem, the Prime Celestial, created the first sun and brought light into the universe. Life began, and thrived. All was in balance.

Until an unnatural species of predator emerged from deep space to feed on intelligent life - They were known as DEVIANTS. The universe was plunged into chaos.

To restore the natural order, Arishem sent ETERNALS - immortal heroes from the planet Olympia - to eliminate the Deviants.

Eternals had unyielding faith in Arishem until one mission led by the Prime Eternal, Ajak, changed everything...

A huge structure drifted through space, passing the sun. It was called the Domo - a space ship, home to the Eternals. In the middle of the Domo, a statue of Arishem stood high, reminding the Eternals of their mission.

In a circle, eleven figures sat around Arishem's statue, monotone expressions on their faces, eyes closed. "It is time." Ajak, the Prime Eternal, spoke up.

The other Eternals stood up and walked towards the walls, standing with their backs towards it. Golden magic surrounded them as different colored suits formed around them.

Finally, they came to their senses. One of them, Y/n, walked towards a window on one of the walls of the Domo, looking at space. Another one, Druig, walked up to her, standing next to her and studying her features.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" she asked, turning to look at the man beside her who nodded slightly. "I'm Druig." he introduced himself, waiting for her reaction. "I'm Y/n."

He slightly smiled at her before turning to look at what was in front of their eyes. "It is our mission to protect humanity from the Deviants. Ikaris, Gilgamesh, Thena, Kingo, Makkari and Y/n. Get ready." Ajak said, gaining the Eternals' attention.

"See you in a minute." Y/n smiled at Druig before turning to walk away. He couldn't wait to see her powers.

5000 BC - Mesopotamia

A father and his son were fishing near the sea, the father standing on a rock formation to catch the fishes with a spear while his son slit them open with a sharp rock.

From a higher cliff, people of their tribe started shouting at them. "It's coming! Run!" they screamed, gaining both the father's and the son's attention.

"Father!" the son called out to his father. "Run." he commanded before a creature attacked him, killing him within seconds and getting ready to attack the boy.

Just as it was about to attack him, bright laser beams shot it back, saving the boy from death. He saw six figures on top of a cliff, one in the air, one with outstretched hands while she lowered the others to the ground.

Ikaris, who had shot the laser at the Deviant, attacked the creature another time, sending it flying back into the ocean. Another Deviant came up to the boy, ready to attack him, only for Makkari to speed him away, bringing him to safety.

Makkari sped away the tribespeople that were about to get attacked by the Deviant while Kingo shot energy beams at the creatures, effectively killing them with Makkari's help.

"Good fight." he signed to her, earning a small grin. "You too."

Gilgamesh knocked a Deviant back with his hand, giving Thena time to wound the creature with her weapons. Y/n ran up behind them, lifting herself in the air before dropping a huge boulder on the Deviant's head, killing it.

Meanwhile, Ikaris was still fighting the Deviant that had killed the father, shooting it with his laser beams before punching its head, knocking it into the water.

Once the Deviants were dead, the Domo emerged from the sky, the other Eternals landing on the ground safely. The tribespeople pointed their spears at them, Druig raising his arm and controlling them to let go of their weapons.

Ajak healed a wound on Ikaris' shoulder. "Thank you, Ajak." he told the woman before she turned to look at the tribespeople. The Eternals stood next to each other, Druig taking his place next to Y/n.

"Very impressive, darling." he whispered in her ear, placing his hand on her waist. "Well, I had to do all that alone. You weren't much of a help." she smirked playfully, earning a grin from the dark haired male.

The boy whose father had died stepped forward, walking closer to the Eternals. Ajak nodded to Sersi, who took a stone-made dagger that was laying on the ground.

She turned it into a dark blue dagger with golden highlights, handing it to the young boy. He took it from her hand, smiling at the older woman. "Thank you." he spoke, tears in his eyes.
