Later that day, the festivities had begun. Standing in the middle of the room, Sprite created impressive illusions around herself, mesmerizing every one that was present.

"The wonders of the world await you. Follow Gilgamesh and Enkidu into battle. Be forever inspired by their bravery and strength. You and your fellow men will go on great adventures and become legends of your own!" she said in Babylonian, the people around her cheering once she finished.

Sitting at a table with Druig and Babylonian men, Y/n leaned her head on her date's shoulder, closing her eyes before she felt wind blowing through her hair.

She opened her eyes, seeing Makkari standing in front of her. "Makkari. You're late." Druig signed to her, some of the men leaving once she arrived.

"I needed to get enough artifacts to make a good trade." she explained in sign language, putting some of the artifacts on the table. "Just lie to her." one of the men whispered to his friend.

He went to steal it, only for Makkari to suddenly run up to him and grab his hand, the men looking at her in shock. "I can sense vibrations. Even the tiniest movement. Including your voices when you speak. Did you two just waste my time?" Y/n translates Makkari's sign language to the men.

"The emerald tablet you're searching for is a myth." the man told her, Y/N translating until she was interrupted by the sounds of a fight. She turned around, seeing numerous men throwing punches at each other.

She looked at Druig, really uncomfortable with the situation. "I'll handle it, darling." he promised, his eyes turning golden as he used his powers.

He made the men slap themselves in the face before they cheered and hugged each other. Makkari walked up to Druig, slapping his arm in a scolding manner.

"When humans have conflicts, Ajak tells us not to interfere." she signed, looking at the brunette. "Well, she also says that stealing is very, very bad." Druig smirked, turning to his friend. "If you don't tell, I won't tell." she signed to him and he nodded, smiling to himself.

She sped away, trying to find the other Eternals, leaving Y/N and Druig. Music started playing, so Druig held his hand out for his best friend to take. "May I have this dance?"

She smiled, placing her hand in his. He pulled her closer, his hands around her waist as hers went to his chest. "I really like you, Y/n." he admitted, looking at her closely.

"I really like you too. I've been waiting more than four thousand years for you to say that." she chuckled. He kissed her forehead, her scent invading his nostrils.

The following weeks, the two Eternals went on several dates, always doing something the two of them liked - from just reading a book in silence to cooking something together to watching the night sky with each other.

The other Eternals noticed their change in behavior, bombarding the couple with numerous questions a day. Druig and her weren't officially dating, though the two of them definitely wanted that.

"Oh, come on, Y/n, I can see it in your eyes when you look at him. Don't tell me the two of you are just friends." Ajak stated, following her friend to the lab.

"Ajak, Druig and I aren't dating." the h/c haired woman laughed. "But you're in love! I can see it! It's even worse than with Ikaris and Sersi!" she exclaimed.

"Y/n, you have loved each other in all of your lives before this one. Don't let this opportunity be wasted." Ajak said.

"Ajak." another voice spoke up, the two women turning around to see Druig standing in the lab as well. "May I steal her for a second?" the brunette asked, receiving a nod from their leader.

He outstretched his hand for Y/n to take and pulled her through the Domo until they were walking around Babylon. He led her to an open area where he'd placed a blanket beforehand and made her sit down.

"Is this another date?" she asked, smiling at her crush. "Kind of. You know, I've been thinking about what Sersi and the others have told us the last couple of weeks." he started. looking at his fellow Eternal.

"And what are you referring to, specifically?" she asked. The other Eternals had told them a lot of different things regarding their feelings towards each other, so she wanted to make sure.

"How we're so in love with each other that they can feel it. I think they're right. And I would like to act on that, too. So, I want to ask you to be my girlfriend, officially." he stated, smirking nervously.

A smile spread across her face before she pulled him close, hugging him and burying her face in his chest. "I'd love that." she mumbled. He placed his arms around her.

"I knew it! Ikaris, you owe me some bread!" Kingo's voice could be heard and the two of them pulled apart, seeing their fellow Eternal running back to the Domo, laughing like he was crazy.
