Eddie's POV

Once on the road, Eddie fiddled awkwardly with his rings. It had been a long time since he had been in a car other than his own. His breath turned shallow. Why was it always when he was with Steve Harrington that he got like this...

Steve seemed to notice that something was off, because he suddenly enquired,
'Do you, um, wanna listen to any music?'
'Oh Steve...' Eddie muttered as he rifled through the various cassettes that were scattered around the car, 'you think this is music?' Steve blushed slightly, embarrassed that Eddie didn't approve of his choice of songs.
'Well, yeah. I mean, it's what I like.'
'Oh ho ho, I could show you some real music. In fact, my trailer's just down here, you could pop in quickly?'

Steve's POV

Steve knew that he shouldn't. But, then again, his parents were out. I mean, when were they ever in. And there was a real air of intriguing mystery about Eddie and his infamous trailer.

'Fuck it. Why not.' Steve said decidedly. Eddie's face lit up with child-like joy, and he kicked his legs in the air happily.

Steve smiled to himself. Maybe, just maybe, he was actually starting to like Eddie.

Maybe people were wrong about him.
