*Your POV*

Marcy had betrayed us.  She was the one who got us trapped in Amphibia on purpose.  She wanted us to stay together forever, instead of her parents forcing her to move away into a different state.

Anne and Sasha tore their hands away from Marcy's grasp and backed off, not believing that their friend could be so selfish.

I stood to the side as I watched Marcy, one of my best friends, break down in tears.

There were so many things I wanted to say to her, but King Andrias never gave me the chance.

"M-Marcy..I-I—"

I was interrupted by someone grabbing me and lifting me up into the air.  I was being held so tight that I could hardly breathe, and no matter how hard I struggled, nothing happened.

"You kids take your friends for granted, until they aren't there for you anymore." I heard the large newt snarl from behind me.

"N-No! Guys, d-don't listen t-to him!" I shouted as loud I could, but the large newt king squeezed my chest harder, making me cry out at the sudden tightness.

"Let Y/n be an example for you three."

Suddenly, Andrias let go of me, causing my body to slip from his clutches and start to fall towards the floor. But, before I could collide with the ground, a large, blue tail came into my view for a millisecond, and swatted me across the large castle room.

I didn't make a sound as I went soaring through the air.  I could hardly process where I was going, before I smacked into something, hard.  I hit the wall with so much force that it left a dent in the bricks. 

All of the wind got knocked out of me as I crumbled to the floor, unmoving.  I gasped and coughed uncontrollably, trying desperately to regain control of my breathing.  My eyes started to burn, along with my lungs.  I kept coughing, and then started to gag as blood filled my mouth and dripped down my chin. 

I laid beneath the dent in the wall, curled up and hopeless...until someone's arms lifted up my torso and placed me on their lap.  I weakly opened my eyes, realizing the person holding me was Anne.

"Y/n! N-no, no, no, no, no." Her voice was full of disbelief as her tears dropped onto my chest.

Despite being as injured as I was, I knew what was happening: my body was shutting down. With the remaining seconds I had left, I tried to reassure my friend.

"Don't—Don't w-worry about me, Anne." I whispered, my voice practically soundless. "It's going to...b-be okay." Anne shook her head and let out a quiet sob. She hugged my body close to hers, before hesitantly pulling away.

With one last glance, I stared at her, tears rolling down both of our faces. "I-I-I'm...sorry." I whispered, before shutting my eyes. 

Everything went silent, and I felt Anne let go of my body and gently set me back down onto the floor.

"Give her back.....GIVE...HER...BACK!" I saw a bright flash of blue, before I blacked out.

I know this wasn't a request, but the idea popped into my head, so I just went with it.

Plus, some of the other Amphibia writers were writing angst, so I wanted to beat you guys with the angst stick too.
