"Hey," she said sweetly tucking her long silky blonde hair behind her ear. She smiled and looked into his emerald green eyes. He looked at her and smiled
" Hey, we missed you around here. How are you doing?" Dylan asked.
" I'm doing better," she replied, " it's been hard to adjust, but we are managing. He looked at her and smiled thoughtfully. They smiled at each other until the bell rang to get to class.
" So um, I'm going to science. Walk with me?" He asked her.
" Sure ," Sadie replied.
They walked into the classroom and Sadie thanked Dylan. Still smiling at each other they sat down and waited for the teacher. Sadie noticed a purplish bruise on her arm, ignoring it she listened to Ms. Smith and waiting for the bell to ring to leave class.
Second period was her free period. She sat down in the library and finished her science homework. Sadie looked up and peered around the room. She noticed books scattered everywhere, cliques whispering, and teachers grading papers.
At lunch Sadie started feeling unwell and went to the nurse, who sent her home with a temperature of 101.2.
When she got home just sat down at her desk and watched Pretty Little Liars until it was time for dinner. She and her dad at dinner in silence, things had been awkward ever since her sister left for college. When dinner was over she hurried back upstairs to take a shower, she noticed the bruise on her arm turned to a blue/brown color. She got out of the shower and pulled her hair into pony tail, she grabbed her tooth brush and toothpaste. While she was brushing her teeth she looked up and noticed her nose bleeding, she grabbed a tissue and held it there for a few minutes.
It was 10:30 so she crawled into her welcoming bed and texted her best friend Claire. Sadie told Claire about her conversation about Dylan. All she could think about was wanting to tell him how she felt.
"I love you Dylan," she thought, "I freaking love you"
