"I'm sorry for your loss." The doctor says as he looks down to the white floor. That was when my mother fell to her knees in the middle of the hallway, crying her heart out after hearing those 5 words she never wished to hear ever again. It was certainly hard for her, loosing 2 of her 5 children. Namun helps mom up back up on her feet and immediantly hugs her, tears going down his own face as he comforted our sobbing mother. He had lost an older brother.
I stare blankly at the doctor ignoring the sweat on my forehead as I had just ran here from the park.
"I'll leave you all be. Doctor Han, I'll talk to you about what happened tomorrow." The doctor then excuses himself back into Nawoo's surgery room.
Nawoo's girlfriend had told me that there was a shooting at the company, which was the reason why she was shakey and why her voice was small and trembling. Nawoo had been shot in the chest and at his shoulder, but he had already lost too much blood at the scene. The doctors still tried to save him, but they unfortunately failed.
"Nari.." Najoon says from behind me. I turn to look at the tall boy with teary eyes. He sighs and pulls me into a tight and comforting hug I never knew I needed. "It's ok to cry, you shouldn't ever be ashamed to cry."
With that, I let all my emotions out. I wuickly wrap my arms around Najoon's neck and hide my face in his chest as I cried my heart out.I had just lost 2 brothers now. One to an accident and another to a shooting.
I couldn't handle it anymore. Death to a loved one is the worst thing that could happen to anyone, especially if you were really close to them.Pushing Najoon away from me, I grab my bag and sling it around my shoulder and leaving my family at the hospital with no words. It was night now. I take my phone out of my bag and check the time.
11.53pm.
The girls are definately at the house now, and I doubt the boys are the the company at this time.
With a sigh I make my way back to the company and instantly going up to the rooftop, the last place I was with Nawoo.
He came to the rooftop with me because he wanted some alone time with me since it had been a while since we talked. That was a month ago. Ever since then we were both too busy to talk to each other. He was busy doing whatever, I was busy with Xdinary Heroes and Celestial.I close the heavy metal door and set my bag on the swinging bench Junhan were once on. I take off my converse shoes and net them neatly on the round infront of my bag before going to the edge and sitting down on it, slowly getting closer to the edge.
It hasn't even been an hour since Nawoo had died, and I already feel like I lost myself. I was feeling the same things I felt when Nayoon died.
His lifeless body going into an ambulence with police lights shining everywhere. Blood splattered on the roads and the cars. The cars were scratched and had plent of dents. The front of the car was absolutely wrecked. The license plate was no where to be seen, the bumper was hanging off, the hood was crinkled, glass was shattered. There was a total of 7 people that were in that accident, 3 if them dying. There were kids crying, locals looking in, news reporters streaming the incident, police pushing then away. There was also my mom crying out for her first born child. Crying out for him to be alive and ok while my father had to pull her away because she had to leave the emergency response people do their jobs. Although she too was a doctor, she didn't have her work ID on her, so they didn't let her in the scene. All that happened in one night.
I then take my green jacket off, throwing it onto the bench which then left me in grey sweats and a white t-shirt. Standing up on the edge, I look down the the dark city.
What if I joined Najoon and Nawoo?
"Han Nari! Get away from there!" I hear from the door. I turn around to see Hyeongjun.
That was the last thing before I took the step that would end my life.
