Jess drove them through the woods and parked the car by the gates at the far back of the lab where Lucas said his compass led him to. Jess took the wire cutter from her trunk making a small hole in the fence. She ducked through first then helped Joyce through. They walked carefully but quickly to the lab before the security lights flashing on. Jess grabbed Joyce arm pushing her gently behind her as soldiers with guns came up behind them. "It's alright weee gonna be okay." Jess reassured as more soldiers surround. Two of them coming up to them one of them grabbing Joyce first. "Hey hands off!"
"Come on let's go." The other soldier demanded as he grabbed Jess pushing them inside going upstairs before Jess and Joyce were departed and put into different rooms.
Jess was handcuffed to the desk as two soldiers came in with an elderly woman. One of them instantly holding a razor to Jess's face. "Right okay, let's be reasonable here and no one will get hurt." The elderly woman sat in front of Jess. "Tell me what you know."
"What do you mean?"
"What do you know about what's going on here?"
"I know you do experiments on little kids, whose parents' brain's you've turned to mush. You went a little too far this time. Made a boo-boo as my Dad used to call it. It's like when a kid shits in a diaper. But disgusting as it sounds you've let this one run, you've let it leak. But it's the perfect analogy." Jess smirks. "Because guess what this lab is the stinky nap, and you're the shit!" The soldier beside Jess tazors her side.
"You faked my friends sons death. We had a whole funeral for him and everything. You should've seen everyone sobbing their eyes out." Jess chuckled. "But I didn't cry you know why, cause I knew he was still alive. And he still is he's done there somewhere, the shit that you've let lose." The man tazors her once again. "That's everything I know. And everything I will tell you. Except for this... burn! In! Hell!" A phase punch was sung across Jess's face.
"We'll tazor you and punch the shit out you till we get the whole truth and everything out of that dirty mind of yours." The woman leaned forward. "And you know why we're doing this to you and not you're little friend."
"Cause you don't want to ruin her pretty little face?!" Jess chuckled.
"No because I wouldn't hurt another woman. But you're not a woman. You're a sinner. You don't think mostly everyone in Hawkins knows what you are?" Jess's jaw clenched. "You don't deserve to be ignored form pain. Because you are a-" just then the door opened as another soldier nodded for them to come out.
Jess was left alone till the door opened again. Jess was prepared to see that bitch again but a soldier came in and Jess smiled at the sound of Joyce's voice from outside the door. The soldier released her from the handcuffs as he tried to grab her but Jess ran off to Joyce bringing her into a hug. "Thank Hof you're okay." Jess mumbled into Joyce's neck.
"Yeah. Yeah I'm okay. I'm not hurt I'm safe." Joyce combed her fingers through Jess hair. "Did they hurt y-" Joyce pulled Jess's face away to see if there were any injuries. "Jess what the hell did they do to you?"
"Joyce I'm completely fine."
"No you're not." Just then soldiers told them to follow them two informer of Jess and Joyce as they walked through the hallways and two behind them. They led them into a room with hazard suits hung up.
"What's this?"
"You wanna get the kid back? Go ahead!" One of the scientists pointed to an opening with vines that didn't look normal at all.
"Holy shit!" Jess sighs.
