On the way back to Hawkins Hopper was called on the walkie by Cal saying that Jonathan Byers had been bought to the station.

Hopper raced as quick as he could after hearing that, for the sake of Joyce back to Hawkins. As soon as they arrived they saw Nancy holding an ice pack against his face and Jonathan handcuffed to the desk.

"Jonathan?" Joyce gets his attention as Nancy hands him the ice pack standing up to let Joyce go up to her son. Nancy went to Jess's side.

"Hi Nance."

"Hey Jess."

"Do you want me to take you home?"

"No I'm fine." She shook her head smiling. "Thank you though."

"Take them off." Joyce told Callahan.

"Joyce I'm afraid I can't-"

"TAKE THEM OFF!" She yelled at him again pointing to the handcuffs.

"You heard her take them off." Hopper gave him a glare as Callahan sighed and release Jonathan from the handcuffs.

Then Powell took Hopper outside to show him something in Jonathan's car as Hopper came back with a cardboard box full of hunting stuff slamming it on the desk. "What's this?" Jess peered into the box.

"Why don't you ask Jonathan?" Hopper stares straight at him. "We found it in his car."

"Why are you going through my car?"

"Is that really the question you should be asking right now? I wanna see you in my office."

"You won't believe me."

"Try us." Jess smiled. Nancy and Jonathan went into Hoppers office with Joyce and Jess sat next to each other behind them as Nancy and Jonathan went into full description of what they went through and discovered.

"So you say blood draws this thing?" Jess questions.

"We don't know it's just a theory." Nancy shrugs. Then Joyce pulled Jonathan out of the room to talk privately and Hopper went to go fill up his whiskey bottle.

"You okay?" Jess spoke softly towards Nancy.

"I'm fine why wouldn't I be?"

"After what you described you saw. I know I wouldn't be all that great. You can talk to me you know?"

"It was..." she hesitated for a second. "It was like home but also nothing like it. It was..."

"Dark and cold?" Nancy looked up at Jess shocked that she knew.

"When me and Joyce spoke to Will that's how he described it."

"You spoke to him?" Jess nodded. "That thing that I saw. It was... it was like my nightmares that I had when I was a little girl had come to life. I was so scared if something was going to happen to me. That I would never see my parents or my stupid brother and Holly again." Nancy sniffles.

"Hey. Hey." Jess pulls her into a hug. "You're okay now you're safe. It's okay. Listen." Jess pulled Nancy away from the hug to look at her. "I promised Joyce I would protect her and her sons and I promised Dustin I would keep him safe, and I Promis e you aswell I won't let anything happen to you if one of those things come to Hawkins. I promise you. Understand?" Nancy nodded as Joyce, Jonathan and Hopper came back in saying they need to go. As they were walking out they saw Troy and his mum arguing with Callahan.

"That's that little shit that bullies Dustin's and the others." Jess pointed as she stormed over them.

"What's going on here?" Hopper asks.

"These men are humiliating my son."

"Good." Jess mumbled crossing her arms.

"What was that?" Troy's mum turned to Jess.

"Read my lips woman! I said it's good that your son is getting humiliated!"

"How dare you!"

"You're little shit has been bullying my kid and his friends for years."

"Who's your kid?"

"Dustin Henderson."

"You're not his mother!"

"Did I say I was?! He's my friends son, and we're close and best friends and he's almost like a son to me. Therefore I CAN SAY HES MY KID!"

"Okay crazy." Joyce grabs Jess's hand dragging her away.

"A psychotic child broke his arm!" His mother stated.

"A little girl, Chief. A little one."

"That tone! Do you hear that tone?"

"Honestly, I'm just trying to state a fact!" This continued on for a couple of minutes as Hop was getting bored, mouthing to Powell to get a statement then walking out but stopping when he heard Troy describe the girl.

"She had no hair and she was bleeding from her nose. Like a freak."

"What did you say?" Hopper walked back.

"She's a freak!"

"No about her hair."

"She had none. She didn't even look like a girl. Her head was shaved. And..."

"And what?"

"Tell him hun." Troy's mum reassured him placing her hand on his shoulder.

"She could do things."

"What kind of things?"

"Like make you fly... and piss yourself."

"Holy shit!" Jess states running out as Hopper thanks Troy and his mum for their time as they all run after Jess. Jess opens the car and searches round the backseats for her walkie.

"Jess love explain!" Joyce states as they all stand behind her as she continues her search for her walkie.

"Found it!" She turns around changing it to the right channel. "Dustin? Dustin it's me Hess if you're there answer me! I need to know if you're okay."

"Jess what is going on?!" Hopper snatches the walkie off her so she can explain.

"I picked Dustin up the other day and I could tell something was on his mind. Like he was hiding something. He said it was nothing but then went straight on to telling me that Mike's cousin from Sweden was over."

"But we don't have any Swedish family." Nancy furrowed her eyebrows.

"Exactly! That's what I thought. Her name was Eleanor but anyway she joined them at school that day and it was an assembly dedicated to Will and after Troy was basically slagging Will off and Mike stood up to him and Dustin told me Troy peed his pants. How often does a boy his age pee his pants and is it just a coincidence that Troy is suddenly vulnerable against the boys when this girl shows up?"

"So?" Hopper drags out.

"We need to find the kids. We find the kids we find this girl."

Hopper sighed as he past the walkie back to Jess as they all got in the car Jess squeezed between Jonathan and Nancy in the back still trying to contact Dustin.
