'Light the trench! Light the trench!' Davos waved his torches back-and-forth alerting daenerys that now was the time to light the trench to protect the castle. But Davos continue to wave the torches but Daenerys on her dragon could not see the little flame from above

'Light the trenches! Light the trenches!' he told the archers and they shot their flaming arrows at it but the fire fizzled out.

The red woman came forward putting her hands on the trench borders saying a prayer to the Lord of light to give them fire to protect them to save them arrows flew past her sword swung the enemy near closer she kept praying and praying and praying they got closer and closer and closer finally as when I was about to jump on her the whole trench lit a flame killing the enemy that ran into it. A circle of light of fire swarmed around Winterfell protecting them the flame was mirrored in their eyes as they watched the enemy burn.

'They lit the trench' Theon told them he turned back to Bran.

'so much for daenerys being any help.' Sasha muttered. 'that red woman is quite useful. What has daenerys done besides parade around on her dragons back, in the safety of the clouds?' sasha pondered.

'keep that fire, sasha.' Bran told her. 'things are about to get messy.'

'Bran? I just want you to know I wish... The things I did-' theon began.

'Everything you did brought to you where you are now' Bran told him 'where you belong' he assured him 'home.' Theon nodded. 'I'm going to go now.' bran said, and sasha looked to him confused.

"Go?' Sasha questioned.

'Go where?' Theon questioned and Brans eyes turned white as his head tipped back he went into the ravens he went to see what was going on without ever leaving his chair.

'shit, that's...' sasha had no words. She looked to theon he looked just as confused as they stared at Bran's lifeless body. 'he knows what he's doing.' Sasha said not confidently.

'yeah.' Theon agreed. 'he's fine.' They stared down at him, on guard as they waited for the night king and for Bran to return. He was even more defenses like this. Sasha didn't like it.

Bran saw the night king reaching out to him he saw the army of the dead waiting behind the trench but one by one they started to pile on top of it putting out the fire with their bodies.

The white walkers started to climb on top of each other climbing up the wall they would take the castle in no time at the rate they were going.

'Come on Clegane, we need you.' Beric told him.

'Fuck off we're not gonna win this' he said panting and leaning against the wall.

'Tell her that he,' beric pointed up at arya on the roof she was being cornered. Ned was already hot on his daughter heels. Sandor took off after them.

Arya closed the door on the walkers thinking maybe she was safe but they came spiriting out at her. She ran. They chased.

'Arya!" ned called and she ran to him. Sandor and beric walked cautiously beric's sword on fire as they looked for arya. Ned pushed his daughter out of the way onto to be toppled to the ground he sliced uselessly at them as sandor and beric hauled him up. Sandor pulled arya behind him, protecting her as he offered ned a hand up.

'We gotta go!' beric declared. Sandor, Ned and arya ran fighting walkers but beric created a blockage, sacrificing himself, allowing them to escape. Ned and sandor barricaded the door as arya panted for breath.

'The lord brought him back for a purpose, now that purpose has been served.' the red woman said looking to the three of them.

'I know you,' Arya said looking her over.

'you brought jon back.' Ned remarked.

'And I know you.' The red woman confirmed.

'You said we would meet again' arya remembered.

'And here we are. At the end of the world.'

'What do we say to the god of death?' The red woman asked

'Not today' Arya replied

Screams rang out as sasha and theon and his men fought the walkers. Bran sat in the middle of it all. No one saw the night king approaching too focused on the monsters in front of them. sasha was throw against a tree she lay feeling a dislocated rib digging into her lung. Theon looked to bran just as bran came back into his body. Walkers stood back watching and waiting. The night king stood waiting as well. The night king was focused on bran. Sasha stood up sucking in a pained breath, using the tree for support, she curled her shoudler's forward feeling it pop back in.

'Theon' bran said. 'You're a good man. Thank you.' The night king took a step forward and theon charged at him spear ready but the night king was quick stabbing theon through the stomach. He fell to his knees before falling completely to the ground. Bran and the night king stared each other down silently.

The night king reached for his weapon to end bran once and for all but Sasha came leaping down on top of him. He grabbed her by the neck she dropped the blade catching it in her opposite hand before stabbing him with the dragon glass. Killing him. The rest of his army fell. Sasha looked up to bran, slowly rising after grabbing her blade from the pile of ice that once was the night king.

'One battle done. One more to go.' Bran told her.
