Chapter 4: The Park

I was waiting outside the near the pond where we usually meet up, this place was important to us because it was the place where we finally caught Darkstalker and had him locked up again.

As I was checking my phone I saw a familiar blonde haired girl and cried out towards her, signaling her over here.

"MOON!", shouted Kinkajou hugging me like crazy.

"Its great to see you kinkajou, now please let me go before you break my ribs", I replied.

"Oh ya sorry," she replied letting me down." Its just great to see you again. I thought the summer would be long as heck, but it zoomed by faster than a bullet."

"More like when clay sees a pie." I said when we both blasted out laughing. We knew Clay from his friend, Peril who occasionally hanged out with us sometimes.

"What on earth are you 2 laughing at," said a mysterious voice. We turned around to see a familiar ice haired teen.

"Hey Winter, great to see you again". I replied while getting up.

"You to Moon," he said then hugging me. "Although, I haven't miss a certain someone," he said looking behind him.

"Aw cmon Winter, you gotta admit you had to miss me eventually", said a familiar sand-golden haired boy.

"Hello to you to sand-snorter."  replied Winter towards Qibli.

"Its great to see you all again", said Qibli when he gave us a all a big group hug, it felt kind of nice being around him again.

"Did I miss something or what?" we all turned around to see it was Turtle. "Good to see you to turtle", said Kinkajou hugging him, he then started to blush redder then a tomato.

"well now that the gangs all together we can finally catch up", Said Qibli releasing the rest of us from his hug.

"So what's been new for everyone over the summer," I asked sitting down on the ground. 

Everyone was full of new things to say, Turtle went to all different kinds of camps over the summer,Kinkajou managed to meet up with some old friends during a family trip,Winter  managed to get closer to his siblings before they had to leave for college today and Qibli spent a lot of time with his adoptive parents and working in the restaurant over the summer.

"Well now that's out of the way, anyone know what's happening this year," said Kinkajou.

"Well I do know that we are getting a new student this year, I think his name was Shadowwalker," said Qibli thinking about it.

"Ya and isn't your cousin Snowfall joining Pyrrhia High this year winter", said Turtle. we met Snowfall during the Darkstalker takeover and she seemed nice but also a bit strict sometimes.

"Unfortunately yes, that means this year will be a living hell for me," said Winter with a sad face, "but the good part is my old friend Lynx will be joining to so that's 1 good part."

"ah yes the famous Lynx snowmore, it feels like a relationship might be coming here," I said to winter. he then immediately blushed like crazy and also got mad as heck

"For the last time, I do not have any feeling for her except as a friend, OK!" he shouted. we all jumped back because we were surprised by his reaction.

"Ok, ok Winter jeez, we were just having a bit of fun". said Qibli in defense. winter then calmed down and we got to talk about something very special.

"So you guys heard about the new program right", said Turtle. "What program?" I replied.

"Well the school is offering for our grade a chance to graduate a year early and get a full scholarship to Jade Mountain Academy." he then said 

We were all shocked and surprised by what Turtle just said. Jade mountain Academy was one of the top colleges in the country, anyone who is anyone would want to go there.

"Wow, that sounds like an opportunity we should defiantly take," said Kinkajou excitedly.

We all agreed that we should enter the program. we then decided to finish up and head off to Pyrrhia High.

This will defiantly be a year to remember.
