Chapter 46: New mission

Deathbringer Pov.

Today I was finally going to ask Glory the question. No not to marry me, that comes later. Im gonna ask her to be my girlfriend.

We just got out of the hospital a few days ago and we're back in school. I had just finished class for today and I was walking towards her locker, when I noticed her talking to some guy.

I hid behind another locker and got a good look at him, he had tan skin and dark brown eyes. He had spiked brown hair that sticked upwards, he looked like some sort of punk, so I got in closer to see what they were talking about.

"Look, like I said before we are done, I should never have even asked you out." said Glory frustratedly."And I told you before I love you, and I noticed you hanging around that Deathbringer guy a lot lately, so here's the deal, come back to me or I show him this and break his heart." He then grabbed what looked like a photo and showed it to Glory, and then her entire expression changed.

"Ok, that's clearly photoshopped, that isn't even the right age." she said."Grr, fine but I warn you this, Il be back for you sooner then later." he said while leaving. Then I walked up to her and asked."Hey Glory, who the heck was that?""Oh...He's just an old acquaintance of mine, nothing to bother about, and I mean it! Now I got to get going." she said while leaving.

Now I was really confused, what's going on? But then I stepped on something and saw it was the photo that the guy showed Glory, when I picked it up I was both surprised and humored at what I saw.

It was a picture of them both kissing each other, but I could tell it was fake immediately, I mean who did this photoshopping? I put the picture in my pocket and ran off to find the rest of Glory's friends.

LATER.

I found them in the courtyard of the school."Hey guys, I need some info on something." I asked them."Again, we are not telling you the passcode to Glory's house gate." said Tsunami."It's not that, have any of you guys seen this guy before?" I asked showing them the picture. Then all of their faces changed and they looked pretty guilty.

"Oh crap, he's back?" asked Clay."It can't be, I thought he was still in juvie." said Starflight."Ok, start talking who is he and what's his deal with Glory?" I asked in frustration. They then all looked at each other and then finally came clean.

"His name is Axel Grindsworth, we used to go to school together, and he used to be Glory's Boyfriend." said Sunny."BOYFRIEND!?" I said in rage."Easy Death, they only dated for like a month and they were both freshmen. But Glory caught him cheating on her with another girl and broke up with him, later he managed to find out where she lived and tried to get back with her, which ended up with calling the cops." said Tsunami.

"Dam, so he's some kind of criminal?" I asked."Ya, he was in juvie for a while but it looks like he's out now." said Clay." And now he was trying to get back with Glory." I thought to myself.

I thanked them for the information and headed on my way, I now had a new mission.

Take down Axel.
