Chapter 35: Christmas Day

3rd Person Pov

Today was Christmas Day, and everyone in both groups decided to meet up at the Scorpion Den for Christmas Night.

"Aw man, I can't wait for tonight." said Sunny while hanging up some ornaments."Indeed Beetle, and with the extra help from the rest of the Outlcaws, we can get this done way faster."said Thorn hanging up some silver decoration.

It was true, all the Outclaws were helping Sunny's family with the festivities.Six-claws and Addax were working in the kitchen preparing tonights meal, Kindle,Armadillo and Parch were helping with the decorations and Parch,Ostrich and Tawny were helping set up the tree.

"Any idea where Qibli is?" asked Ostrich."He and Stonemover are out running some errands, they should be back before everyone gets here." said Thorn.

"I wonder what everyone else is doing right now?" thought Sunny.

"Hmmmm, Holiday ham!" said Clay drooling over the festive ham his family made."NO CLAY! Its not ready yet, go back into the living room with the others!" shouted his younger brother.

"Alright,alright jeez Reed." said Clay walking away."Ya Clay, besides don't you have a party to go to with your friends or something?" asked his mother."What? I can't have some of your famous ham and not also go to a party...where there will be more food." said Clay innocently.

Then his entire family laughed at the fact that they Clay couldn't go five minutes without eating something. They then all sat down next to each other, but they all had 1 seat open, it was meant for Clay's father,Boulder, who died while serving in the army."I hope we can still keep up the traditions, even without dad." said Umber."Agreed." said all the family members.

"Now, LETS EAT!" yelled Clay, but everyone stole half of the ham first."AY!" shouted Clay."Oh no you don't, you are not going to try to eat all of it like last year mister!" said his Aunt Asha."Boooo." said Clay. and like that everyone was laughing.

"Oh crap, I got to get going, Im picking up Peril for Sunny's party." said Clay."Alright,we'll save you some ham." said Crane. Clay then left his house and got into his car and drove to pickup peril..........

After picking her up, Clay said."Any idea what your new year's resolution is gonna be?""I don't really know, I guess try being a little less mean next year." said Peril."Ummm, if I remember correctly that was what you made for 3 years?" asked Clay."What, I got anger issues." They both Laughed at the fact Peril used to be extremely mean, but that all changed when she met Clay.

Tsunami was trying to pick out what outfit to wear to sunny's party. She eventually chose a long sleeved white top with a tsunami on it, and a long dark blue skirt that went to her ankles. And to top it off she added a gold necklace that Riptide gave to her, it had a tiny carving of a tidal wave on it, something that both they're names represent.

"Ah, now all I got to do is wait for Riptide." said Tsunami. She then exited her room and grabbed her winter coat, but before she could leave she peaked into her sister Anemone's room and saw that she was escaping through the window.

"And where do you think you're going?" asked Tsunami."Oh crap." said Anemone."Unless you want me to tell mom and dad, you should start talking." said Tsunami."Ok, Im sneaking out to my friend pike's party that he's having, and there's someone there I really want to see." said Anemone.

Tsunami knew where this was going."Alright, so what's his name?" said Tsunami. But then Anemone said."Um...Actually its a she."."Oh, so what's her name?" asked Tsunami.

"Her name is Tamarin, she's in a few of my classes and I really like her." said Anemone."Well ok then, Il cover for you." said Tsunami."Thanks sis." said Anemone as she left the room.

Tsunami then heard a car horn from outside, that was Riptide. She then left the room and ran down stairs to greet him."Tsunami, do you know where your sister is?" asked Coral."Oh she's just going to a party with her girlfriend." said Tsunami."Ah,alright then-WAIT WHAT?!" Yelled Coral.

Tsunami then was greeted by her date."What's going on in there?" asked Riptide."Oh, just typical family Drama." But just then they both heard someone yell."WAIT FOR ME!" yelled turtle as he dived into the car."Wha, Turtle what the heck bro?" asked Tsunami."Ummm hello, im going to the same party as you." said Turtle."Fine you can ride with us, just don't make a mess back they're ok." said Riptide.

Glory was looking outside her window, she was waiting for her brother to take her to Sunny's party because her Motorbike was in the shop, just then Jambu came in and said."Hey Glory, you ready to get going?""Yep, and you're sure your ok taking me to sunny's?" asked Glory.

"Uhhh, what do you mean, Im not taking you that kid out there is." said Jambu. Immediately Glory looked outside and saw someone out there."Grrr, DEATHBRINGER!" yelled Glory as she ran out of her room and the front door, meeting with Deathbringer.

"Ah hello Glory, are you ready to go?" asked Deathbringer."Grrr, ok how much did you pay my brother to do this?" asked Glory in a fit of rage."Only 50 bucks, so worth it." said Deahtbringer."I can't believe my own brother sold me out, and for 50 bucks, now that's insulting." said Glory."I know, I said you were worth at least a million." said Deathbringer.

They both then got into his car but Deathbringer then said."Oh heads up, I picked some of your friends up on the way.""Who?" asked Glory. Then Moonwatcher, Starflight,Kinkajou and Winter jumped from the back seats."GAH! How can you fit this many people in 1 car its un-natural." said Glory.

"Don't look at me, complain to the author who wrote this."

PARTY

Now everyone was at the party and having a good time, they were giving presents out to each other, watching movies and just chilling out in general.

Then, peril opened one of the gifts that had her name on it, and in it was a necklace that had a gem in it shaped like a flame."Wow, I wonder who got me this?" asked Peril while putting it on, meanwhile A certain someone in the corner*Cough,Clay.* was proud that he got the gift for her.

Then all of a sudden they heard loud footsteps coming from the roof."Santa?" said everyone. Then all of a sudden someone came crashing down from the chimney and dust raised everywhere."Ho, Ho,Ow." said the mysterious person. The dust then disappeared revealing who it was."STONEMOVER?" "DAD?" yelled everyone.

"Stone, what happened?" asked Thorn." Me and Qibli were trying to hang some decorations up on the roof but I slipped and fell on the chimney, wait HES STILL UP THERE!" said Stonemover.And like that Qibli fell down the Chimney to and more dust rises."Cough,Cough...UM, anyone got a broom?" asked Qibli.

"Anyone want to sing a Christmas carol?" asked Thorn. Everyone agreed to sing dec the halls.
