Chapter 7: Meetup with a snake

(in this chapter we will be introducing snowfall, lynx and sky to the stories, and will begin the verge of the ships of skyfall and lynxter. Don't judge me for who I ship ok!)

Snowfall Pov

It was after the explosion where things started to get crazy, I was just grabbing my history textbook from my locker when a familiar ice-haired girl came up to me.

"So how do you like Pyrrhia high so far snowfall," said lynx next to me. lynx was my closet friend and was always there for me, even though she was my biggest competition back at our old school.

"Its nice I guess, but its nothing like ice worth academy back home." I replied grabbing my textbook. "Cmon Snowfall give it a chance, I mean hey even your cousin is here, I wish my family could come here."

I almost forgot that winter was coming here, we had a weird relationship. we sometimes fought and he teased me sometimes but he's my cousin so I can respect that from him.

"Besides," lynx continued. "You need a fresh start after what has happened in the past year." Ah yes I forgot. My family has been all over the place. with my mom glacier still recovering from her sickness Darkstalker gave her.

My older sister crystal now in college with her boyfriend Gharial and my little sister mink now starting lower school. things were defiantly changing.

All of a sudden someone screamed out of nowhere. we both turned around to see what the heck was happening, what we saw was both shocking and terrifying.

It was a 7-foot long boa constrictor. it was white with red eyes so it must have been albino. It was slithering all around the hallway and jumping students everywhere, 1 kid jumped on top of his locker because of it.

It was slithering towards us and about to pounce on us. we stepped back and nearly flinched but something then happened.

Someone caught it in mid air and suspended it with a pair of claws, I got to see who our savior was. he had orange hair and light skin, he had sky blue eyes and sort of looked familiar to someone.

"Sorry to bother you", he said. "but I might suggest you move before he continues his little rampage." We agreed and move to the side and we witnessed him doing something very interesting.

"nice mr boa, easy there" he said. he then coverd its eyes and calmed it down, all of a sudden our biology teacher came running through the halls.

"So sorry everyone", he cried. "I was feeding the boa when the explosion happened and when I went to investigate I forgot to close up the cage, thank you sky for retrieving him." he said while grabbing the large snake.

"So Skys your name huh", He turned around when I was talking to him. "Ya its a weird name but Its what I got."

"Im snowfall by the way and the girl next to me who's soul just jumped out of her body is lynx," I said finally introducing myself.

"Well its nice to meet you snowfall, I hope we can meetup more often without a boa trying to bite you", he said jokingly. 

He then headed off to class while I grabbed the rest of my school supplies. lynx then said, Wow that is defiantly 1 way to start the day, she said picking up her textbook.

"Wait a sec, you seemed kind of nice to that sky kid, you don't usually act nice to kids you don't know," said lynx with a straight face.

"Ya so, he saved our lives I can be nice to a guy who does that," I said trying to ignore her.

"Wait, do you like him!?", she squealed, I blushed instantly and screamed back at her, "NO I do not have a crush on him, I just met him 5 minutes ago, now let's go before we're late for class."

We both hurried away to history class before the bell rang, but I wondered what she said was true or not, do I like him? Nah probably not.
