Chapter 44: Liar Liar the camps on fire! Part 1.

Glory Pov.

"Alright Campers, out of the bus NOW!" ordered Ms Kestrel as we all exited the bus. For Spring break, the teachers thought it would be a good idea to take us all on a camping trip. But what that meant was mosquitos, poison ivy and boring lectures, although I didn't really mind the extra sun time.

"Alright listen up, we'll be walking through the forest for a bit and we'll meet back here for dinner, everyone has their assigned groups and remember to bring a walkie talkie so you can radio for help." said Ms Thorn. Ok, time to see who Im partners with, not Tsunami, Not Sunny, Oh here Im partnered with...oh for moons sake no.

"Welp, looks like we're partners together My Queen." said Deathbringer walking up next to me."Ok, this can't be happening right now." I said pushing him away. And then I noticed that everyone was either partnered with their partner or ship-mate."Ok, Sunny did you convince your mom to partner everyone up with the person you ship them with?" I asked in a little bit of rage."Maybe?" she said innocently.

"Ugh, I cannot stay mad at you forever, but fine Il be partners with him." I said Pointing at Deathbringer."Excellent, so let's get started on this hike." said Deathbringer putting his arm over my shoulder, Which I immediately removed. And so, the next 5 hours of torture began.

We began walking through the forest and I have to say, it wasn't so bad. Unlike for Tsunami who was having at it with the mosquitos and haze, she likes the water better than the forest. I liked the sun because it felt warm on my skin, it just felt natural for me to be outdoors.

I believed Kinkajou knew what I meant, because she also liked being in the sunlight just like me, its sort of a thing we have in common. Just then I thought I heard something coming from the woods, I was going to inspect it  but the I heard Peril call me over. S I just ignored it and went to go see what peril wanted.

Unknown POV.

"Soon, you will be mine again my Glory."

Back to Glory Pov.

I saw that the others found a huge cave and inside it was a weird glowing crystal."Huh, this is kind of cool. Snowstorm and Shadowwalker seemed more interested in it though."Hmm, I feel like we've seen this somewhere before." said Snowstorm."Ya, It seems really familiar." said Shadowwalker.

"Ya, ya you can talk crystals later, Help us find the walkie talkie." said Riptide searching the ground."I told you not to keep it in your pocket squid brain, now we got to search for it." said Tsunami."Sheesh, I leave for like a minute and immediately you loose the radio." I said in disbelief.

"Hey don't blame me, blame your body guard for spooking me like that." said Riptide pointing at Deathbringer."Seriously Deathbringer?" I said in disbelief again. But then Clay came running over and said."Hey guys good news, I found the walkie.But theres also bad news." said Clay."And what would that be?" I asked."I met a new friend." Just then, a giant creature stood over us and we we're all terrified of what it was.

"BEAR!" We all shouted running for our lives. The bear started chasing us as we all ran for our lives. We soon managed to hide behind a big boulder and was able to not become bear food."Few" we all sighed in relief."We shall never speak of this, agreed?" I asked everyone."agreed said everyone else.

We all then headed back to camp where we met up with everyone else, apparently there were reports of a bear on the loose, I wonder where that could have come from. I thought with a nervous face.

Later it was time for dinner, we all thought we we're going to be forced to eat weird forest foods but instead we all got pizza and s'mores, yum!"Soon we all finished dinner and sat around the camp-fire, we all then started to play truth or dare.

"Ok, who's first?" asked Sunny."Il go first, Sunny, truth or dare?" I asked."Truth" said Sunny."How long did you have a crush on Starflight for." I asked."Oh umm, that's embracing, I guess since 10th grade? I kinda started having that feeling since then." said Sunny snuggling next to Starflight in embarrassment.

"Alright, who's next?" Clay asked."You, Truth or dare?" asked Sunny."Dare.""I dare you to fit an eat an entires s'more." said Sunny handing him the s'more."Oh please that's easy." said Clay grabbing the s'more and chucking it down his throat, I swear he eats like a pig sometimes.

"Ok, who's next?" I asked looking around,but then everyone was looking at me, so I knew it was my time."Ok, ask away.""Truth or dare"They all said in unison."Dare." I said feeling proud of my choice, but later I would regret it big time.

"I dare you to snuggle next to Deathbringer for the rest of the night!" said Tsunami proudly. My jaw dropped at what I just heard."OOOh, I love this dare." said Deathbringer jumping over to my side."When we get back home, Im going to kill you." I said snuggling next to Deathbringer which was horrible.

"OH cmon admit it, you like this." said Deathbringer with a massive grin."Ok, like 1% of me likes this, but that's it." I said, trying not to blush.

LATER.

We we're all fast asleep by then, and soon we were all in our cabins sleeping, but then I caught the smell of burning wood, Tsunami and Sunny who were my cabin mates smelled it to.

"Where is that coming from?" asked Tsunami."LOOK!" Screamed Sunny in horror. Thats when I saw it, the scarlet creation in front of us.

The camp was on fire.
