Tonight was the night, I thought to myself, Tonight is the night I ask out tsunami. It was the night of our first game of the season and we were preparing ourselves for the game. all of a sudden deathbringer walked up to me.
So you ready for the game tonight mate, he said while punching my arm, Ya I guess so even though I have no Idea who were playing tonight. I said while grabbing my helmet. If I remember correctly I think where playing the team from Pantala. he said while thinking.
I remember that team, we played them last year and they were good. Their star quarterback swordtail, who last we heard was dating the captain of their cheer team luna, was an extremely good football player.
While I was grabbing the rest of my gear deathbringer then said, I can tell your thinking about a certain someone tonight. he said while having a massive grin on his face. Ya I can also see it since you've been watching glory all day death, I said while giving him a little payback.
All of a sudden meerkat, who was also part of the team came up to us and said, You guys coming or what the game is about to start in 5 minutes. We got up and headed to the entrance of the field.
LADYS AND GENTLEMEN, THE PYRRHIA HIGH DRAGONS. yelled the announcer. we then all ran out the field and saw the crowd of people cheering for us, we saw everyone one was their, our parents our friends, my dad who was as embracing as per usual at these games. And of course I saw tsunami who was surprisingly only cheering for me, maybe that will be good luck.We got into position and finally-
the game begun. ready set HIKE!
The game then went on for I don't know maybe an hour or so, I finally got the ball and ran through the field but then all of a sudden swordtail tackled me out of nowhere. And then all of a sudden every member of the team was dogpiling on top of me, after the dust settled and everyone finally got off me, we saw the score and it was...... A TIE!? it appears I dropped the ball and so we had a tie game, everyone was shouting out but it did feel like a win to us.
After the game we showered up and headed our separate ways, I defiantly know that deathbringer is going to go flirt with glory or something. All of a sudden I saw a familiar blue haired girl and went to go talk to her, this might be my chance I thought to myself.
Oh hey riptide said tsunami, I sat next to her, So big game tonight I suppose. She asked while moving around her hair. Ya I guess so, although I would appreciate my dad if he would stop embarrassing me with all his "cool" dad stuff. Ugh I agree the same way happens with my mom at my swimming events, will she stop looking at me like a dam baby already. We both laughed at how both our parents are trying to act cool infront of us.
As we were both talking to each other as the night went on I finally got the courage and said. Um tsunami, I know this may be lame of me to ask but.... You want to go to the upcoming dance with me? I asked praying that she thought I wasn't a loser, when all of a sudden she replied.
Huh its about time you asked me out, I looked at her again as she was blushing at me as I was at her, so that's a yes? I asked being confused. Yes you goofball of course Il go to the dance with you. and like that she kissed me. everything was working out riptides way.
3rd person pov.
Until it didn't.
Deathbringer Pov
I was just walking back after being rejected by glory yet again, I know I can get her to go with me I know I- I paused myself when I saw riptide and tsunami kissing!? I looked even closer and saw that they were really kissing.
Oh my bloody god. Bout time those 2 got together. I then grabbed my phone and took a picture of the 2 and then got on the group chat I was on with the others.
Deathbringer: you guys need to see this
Glory: ugh deathbringer we don't need another 1 of your selfies.
Qibli: ya you keep using up the space in both our chats.
Deathbringer: Lol you guys wish it was, but that's it you have to see this.
I then texted the picture to them and they all had some crazy reaction.
Sunny: WHAT!?
Clay: No way.
Starflight: WHAAAT!
Glory: Bout time those 2 got together.
Moonwatcher: Wow.
Kinkajou: EEEEEEEEE!
Turtle: Way to go Big sis
Winter:Ugh typical romance
Qibli: Oh your just jealous cause you haven't found anyone yet
Peril: way to go riptide bout time he got the girl

Meerkat: He mentioned asking her out it was going to happen eventually.
Tsunami: You all realize were on the same chat right?
Riptide: Ya we've been watching for the past minute

Back In the real world, I then heard riptide yell. DEATHBRINGER! I looked over to see a very pissed of tsunami and riptide.
Oh crap, Im out of here I said while running away. GET BACK HERE YOU LITTLE-YOU ARE SO DEAD DEATHBRINGER, they both shouted as they were chasing me.
this was so worth it though.
