People help people - Birdy
I looked up and noticed how heavy grey clouds succumb the bright side of the sky. I inhaled a mouthful of fresh air as I walked throughout the neighborhood.
It's always a good thing to go out and take a walk sometimes.
Today, John would come and visit me, to see how I'm doing so far but I can't say if I'm either happy or not, I just know that it's a pleasure to see familiar faces again.
My relationship with Mr. Stilinski is good and I'm surprised that his son, Kyles actually started to approach to me in a different way, even though there are some times he forget that I don't want to talk. Kyles have been teaching me the basics for this upcoming school year, and I'm grateful for that.
I already know that me and Math aren't going to get along.
After few blocks, I arrived at a small park, not far away from where I came from. I sat on a bench and crossed my legs up, just like a kid.
I tilted my head upwards, enjoying the little bit of sunrays before the grey clouds engulf them totally.
A smile crept upon my face, hearing kids giggling and running around me. I looked around and saw that the park was getting a little bit packed up, but it didn't bother me, in fact it made me feel more peaceful but at the same time it made me feel sad.
Seeing these kids running around carefree, made me feel jealous about their life. I wish I could still do the same. I could still run away every time I pleased. Run until I had enough or until I fall and get hurt.
Yes, hurt. For kids, the word hurt has a very different meaning. It means just a bruise that will heal with time.
Maybe people are right when they say ''You are not a kid anymore when you understand what hurt really means''
Drowning my mind with countless reflection made me lose the sense of time as I heard the sky crack open whilst a thunder made its way to replace a peaceful moment.
I looked around me and saw parents and kids running away to their own paths as I did the same. I cursed beneath my breath whilst the rain started to pour above me.
The journey back to the Stilinski household didn't take long as I opened the front door, revealing two men with a cup of coffee. Both of them came near me as Mr. Stilinski welcomed me with a towel.
I felt instantly warm as I hugged the towel on to me. ''Emma, I told you that it would rain.'' Linden frowned as he led me towards the living room.
The man whom Linden was with came in to view as I noticed that it was John.
I smile made its way upon my face as I hugged him tightly. I didn't care If I was soaked up while hugging him. ''Easy there sweetheart!'' I heard John exclaim whilst he tightened his grip on my shoulder.
I inhaled his familiar scent of mint and cedar wood perfume. He let go of me and examined me carefully. I really missed him, I really missed my former brother.
''Go and change or else you'll get sick! We have a lot of things to talk about, young lady.'' John grinned as I nodded before making my way upstairs.
Steps after steps I saw Kyles walking out of his room.
A frown appeared on his features as he scratched the back of his neck once again. ''Oh hey Emma. I'm sorry I overslept. I forgot we had to study for today.'' He apologized as I shrugged.
I proceed my way to my room and changed myself into more comfortable clothes and putting my hair in a high ponytail.
