"The Second Sons?"

She asked as she gazed out across the desert like landscape with scarce few trees, but grass the romed the land like a heard. A river flowed quietly and calmly, the green banks of which catch her eyes away from the city of Yunkai as she stares at the river.

"Yes, Your Grace. A mercenary group that fight for the highest bidder."

"Selling themselves to be used in other people's wars."

Daenerys shook her head in disapproval as Jorah sighed a little, shrugging his shoulders as he gazed out to the city, eyeing the many tents surrounding it, the banners they wave.

"That's why they're called sellswords, Khaleesi. If you remember, I was once one myself."

"When you fled your lands and Ned Stark's sword if I remember right."

Barristan remarked, slighting the old knight next to him as Daenerys only shook her head at the mockery.

"We've come here to discuss today's wars and battles, not yesterday's, good sers. The things we've done in the past do not define our future."

Barristan nodded but was unsure nonetheless, already understanding that past actions can have dire consequences in the future. Jorah only nodded quietly, not saying another word. Nodding, Dany looked back across to the field of men outside the shining city of Yunkai. She looked from tent to tent, eyeing as men sharpened blades and shared drinks, and also women. It annoyed her to no end the brutality men are capable of. But she also knew what she was capable of. The question of Irri was still unresolved, and she regretted every second.

"Why is their banner that of a spearhead with two swords on the side? It almost appears as a trident."

"A symbol of the Second Sons being the spearhead, the first ones to action, being the driving force, the blade that thrusts through the ranks of the enemy they're paid to kill, perhaps."

"The spearhead is always first to break in battle. After the spear, so too falls the man. If they wish to be broken spearheads, let them be. I have 8,000 Unsullied, they should be blooded early."

She spoke with power and authority, her eyes narrowed as Jorah and Barristan both could see her unintentional action of closing her fists tightly. Shaking his head, Ser Barristan took a step.
