When Lord Morpheus of the Dreaming goes missing for a century, all hell breaks loose as there is no one to defend the fragile walls separating reality from make believe. With minimal help from his siblings in obtaining survival and defending his title as King of Dreams, Morpheus finds comfort through having the dreaded Grim Reaper by his side in a time of uncertainty.

Azrail didn't understand much beyond her job as the Angel of Death, but finding someone her ghostly heart came to care for in a state of agony left her uncertain for the future. Inevitably, she decides to offer her assistance to Morpheus in obtaining his stolen relics and stopping the collapse of the Dreaming. Through an unlikely alliance of cosmic entities placed on opposite ends of the scale of life, they may just manage to save the world in the process.

And the dreaded Grim Reaper may come to appreciate the very gift she once ripped away unforgivingly from unfortunate souls.

Hello, hello! Thank you for clicking on my story and giving it a look. I hope you like why you find.
The Sandman was a shocking surprise to me upon first watch, it was a phenomenal show that you'd never think would belong to the same company who produced the dreaded CW Shows or grind out movies in a desperate attempt to catch up with its competitor. So, I wanted to show my appreciation through a little story that will remain disconnected from my other universes (both the Marvel Universe and Young Justice Series). It'll be a nice change, a brand new slate for me :D
