Last class of the day, thankfully, is art.
Our art teacher, a short young lady with brown hair, gave us the freedom to do whatever we'd like today.
Apparently, my class was on yellow, which meant we were close to being on red. Once you're on red, you have to be silent the rest of the class, and if everyone is actually silent we can move back to green.
However, if we're good we can also move up to green. Remi told me that once we stay on green for a week, we can get an art party.
That was no problem for me, seeing as I'm silent all the time anyway.
We all decided, well Evelyn suggested, that we all draw something for each other.
Noor then showed us how her and her sisters decide things, cutting up our names and shaking them in her hands, then handing them out to everyone. She said usually they have popsicle sticks with their names on them, but this will suffice.
She has 10 siblings. And out of all of those, only two, excluding her, are girls.
And I thought having 7 brothers was a lot, I can't imagine 7 and 3 sisters!
I got Noor, thankfully, because she seems to ramble like Coco. I think they'd get along.
So, with the knowledge that Noors favorite color is pink, she has 10 siblings, 2 dogs, favorite flowers are gardenias and roses, that's all I have to go off of.
Thankfully, we were aloud our computers, so I was able to get a reference. I chose to draw a gardenia, and rose, which is proving to be very difficult.
I huff, erasing part of the rose, look at the picture, then try to copy the petal
It's kind of off center, but it'll do.
The bell rings, but I'm not finished with my drawing yet, so I stuff it in one of my folders and tell myself I'll finish it when I get home.
"Oh thank goodness I'm not the only one who didn't finish," Noor sighs in relief, also putting her drawing in her folder.
I nod, picking up my backpack and preparing myself to be with everyone once again, all the people running around. A shiver runs down my spine just thinking about it.
"Are you parent pick up?" Remi asks, zipping her backpack closed and standing, I stand with her and Evelyn, waiting for Noor to finish packing up.
I nod, that's what Usok had called it, Parent pick up is when your parents, or in my case, brother(s), pick you up instead of taking the bus.
"Yay! Those two take the bus and I'm usually alone, so now I have a buddy! Come on, I'll show you the way." She grabs my hand when Door finally stands, leaving me to only wave at my two other friends, they have smiles on their faces as they wave back.
