(Rimuru POV)
So I only remembered this after the fact... But yeah spatial domination might've been just a tad bit useful...
"In my defense, it was a high-pressure situation, and you had already thought of something so I didn't see the need to think too hard about it okay?" I say to Sophia who's staring at me with a blank look.
"..." she said nothing. She simply stared daggers into me with her sharp brown eyes.
I should probably explain the situation.
It's actually rather simple and clear-cut. You see, we noticed Finn following us, so to avoid him, we ducked into an alleyway. I remembered a little useful skill I had for getting far distances: spatial domination. So I opted to use it to teleport back into Sophia's house. In the past, It took a few minutes to use properly but with the help of Great sage and a bit of practice, I got to the point where I could use it in a few seconds.
As I said, rather simple. Although I guess I just put a target on my back. At this point, Finn either realized it was me or at least someone above his pay grade by virtue of our ability to escape from him. Which was annoying as he would now have Sophia marked too.
But it is what it is. Better than having him find me out in the middle of the street.
"We got through in the end, didn't we?" I try.
"I suppose you're right," she said, yet her expression was unchanging.
"So stop staring at me like that!" I say.
"Like what?" she asks in a flat tone.
"I don't know but I feel like you're judging me!"
"Haa," she let out a small sigh. "I'm not judging you," she said looking away. "However, I need to know. Got any other useful abilities I should know about."
"...Sorry trade secret," I say.
"...Right," she lets go of the topic rather easily. She was really good at that.
"Well in case you should probably get some armor unless you want to stick out in the dungeon even more than you already do. You already attracted plenty of attention as is." She then pointed out.
Oh yeah. I remember. Now that I think about it, did I even have shoes? I was so used to what I was wearing that I didn't even think about it. Then again there were a few people that didn't wear shoes. Namely some Amazonians, but still it would be better to wear some.
"...why didn't we start with that?" I found myself asking. That would make the most sense.
"...I forgot," She replied sheepishly.
Just like I did... I slightly laugh in my head.
"Well anyway let's get going," I say
Anyway, I opted to take a brand new transformation once more in hopes of avoiding Loki Familia. I made use of my mask to fully suppress my aura once again.
We made our way to an armory however according to Sophia would eventually go to a normal shop for casual clothes. She actually changed into more casual clothes before we left for the shop. She now wore a gray tunic with a belt and her black leggings from her battle outfit along with lighter gray boots.
