Chapter-32

Arshi's POV

I quickly brushed my hair, pulling it back into a pony tail. My stripped top was almost full-sleeved so I hopefully had nothing to worry about. I grabbed a packet of chips and settled the pillows around so that I was nice and comfortable. Then sitting cross-legged on our bed, I waited.

Niall's POV

I rested back on the couch as I opened my laptop. The boys were asleep...at least I thought so. A smile made its way to my lips as I saw the green button next to that cute picture of Arshi I had taken and had forcefully put up. I clicked on the video call button and it was answered immediately by that beautiful brown eyed girl who had stolen my heart.

Arshi's POV

My heart thudded hard in my cheast as I answered the call. Niall's face appeared on the screen just as I shoved another chip into my mouth.

"Are you eating my chips?" His eyebrows scrunched up.

I bit another one. "Yes."

Silence. And then he smiled. That beautiful, lovely smile that sent shivers down my spine.

"I wish I was that chip." He said.

I laughed, "So I would eat you up?"

"So I could be there with you." I detected sadness in his tone, "I miss you."

I missed him too. I missed waking up in his warm arms. I missed the way he smelled. I missed the sounds he made when he ate. I missed the worry in his face when his team was losing at derby. But most of all I missed his voice. His heavily Irish accented voice. The way he said my name. I missed it terribly. Suddenly I realised my eyes were full of tears. No Arshi, I told myself, no crying. I blinked, Niall was peering at me from the screen.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

I smiled, "Yes. I miss you too you know."

My phone buzzed. I stretched my hand out to get it from the bed stand. I failed to notice that it caused my sleeve to inch up my hand, revealing the fresh cuts.

"Arshi?" The tone startled me. It was cold. I turned back to the screen. He was looking directly at my wrists.

"What's that?" He asked, looking straight into my eyes. Shit.
