Oliver caught me in the hallway touching a flower pot.

"What are you doing?" Oliver inquired awkwardly.

"Flowers are so fragile. So much like a girl. Breakable and fragile but still pretty to look at. It teaches it's owner how to be patient while growing and kind when planting. Sometimes people treat it like a human instead of a plant" I opinated.

I was referring to Stella. She was so pretty if she was able to clean up. And she was so innocent, so fragile. I wondered how she even came to find this place and be stuck with someone like Oliver.

"Are you tramatized from five minutes ago?" Oliver asked, confused.

I gave him a look "Yea, partly from the idea you treat me like an object and not like a vampire queen"

"Well, I left that affection for tonight" Oliver gave me his signature smirk.

"What's going to happen tonight?"

"We are going to meet your uncle. My father"

"Oh, goodie" boy did I have a lot to say to him.

~~~~~~~~~~~
Imagine a long white table with about ten seats. But only three are occupied.
In fact, me, Oliver and so called uncle Harold were occupying it.
That's right. We were having dinner with my jerk face of an uncle. Big old annoying Oliver's father. Like father, like son.
"My, you've grown beautifully" Harold announced giving me a look over.
I felt uncomfortable under his gaze.
"And you look like an older version of Oliver. Still monster looking" I gave a sour smile.
Oliver coughed as he kicked my chair.
Oh, that's right. He told me to 'act politely and talk queen like'. Good thing I wasn't his dog, right.
Anywho I hated this guy's guts. He made my parents suffer by deciding I should be dead and never spend time with my parents. He took the throne tittle away from my rightfully owned hands. He was looking for war!
"I see you have your mother's side of a hilarious intake on things" Harold remarked casually.
So now he wanted to talk about my mother?
"Yeah, I am her daughter by the way. She also had this quility of seeing justice. Like, I don't know, hiding her child so she would survive, soon grow up and kick the next king's ass" I added.
"Are you still mad that you aren't queen yet? You know Oliver can help you with that"
"Oh, I know you think he can help me! How sick are you? You think I'm just like you? That I would do anything for power? Like marry my own cousin?!"
"Darling, in order to get to the top, you gotta work for it" Harold gave me an Oliver smirk.
That bastard.
"Oh is that what you call it? Well, you want Oliver to marry me, huh? Then your gonna have to work for it, darling. And I mean more than just kidnapping me and keeping me single and away from Darren!! Your gonna regret messing with me and my family" I finished.
I stood up from my chair and threw the white wine I was drinking into Harold's face. And then left out the door.
I was a queen. No need for title. I was a girl not an object.
