"Candice come back! I am not going to scream at you, Candice!" Oliver screamed.
I walked in a flash out of our ride once the house was in view. I hated Oliver. I hated his dad. I hated the fact I was far from Darren.
"Candice" Oliver was by my side in a heartbeat.
"Leave me alone Oliver" I said nudging away from his touch on my arm.
"Candice can we please talk about what just happened! I did not like any part of it" Oliver said grabbing my shoulder and spinning me around.
I gave him an angry look with my eyes, "Oh, I'm sorry if I hate you, hate your dad, and hate that I'm related to you. Guess what! I'm not your dog. So don't tell me what to do" I barked at him in pure steaming fury. Again I started walking away from him.
This time he pressed his whole body against mine, and placed his hands around my arms, his face buried on the crook of my neck.
"I'm sorry" was all he said.
His body was burning holes wherever my skin was bare.
"What do you think your doing?" I hissed in anger.
"You look like your about explode, so I'm helping you calm down" Oliver said.
"I want you off now!" I screamed.
"I understand your under a lot of stress, Candice. You're away from home, you're stuck with strangers, you were forced to meet my father... And I'm sorry" Oliver said.
"I don't need your pity" I said being the hard head I am. I peeled off his arms off me. "And I don't need any comfort coming from you"
I went inside and into the guest room, leaving a wide mouth Oliver behind.

When the sunset was setting, I found it was funny how I was asleep for more than an hour. I slept for half the day, since I saw the sunset first thing through the window.
First thing I did was shower. And found feminine clothes in the closet. To my dislike there were only dresses, how stereotypical. I picked a summer floral dress, one that stopped above my knees. Then found some flats. And lastly combed my hair putting it in a messy braid.
I was so glad when Stella came into my room. She was looking so pretty with washed hair and a pretty grey dress.
"I see today was wash day for you?" I smiled.
"Oh yes, then again after tomorrow" she said with a tight smile.
"Just see me tonight and we'll see how clean you'll be for tomorrow" I winked.
"Okay, miss" she bowed.
"Hey, no bowing I told you that before" I tapped her head. "Treat me like we are alike, Stella"
"You are too good, miss Candice"
I smiled at the comment. "Now, where is Oliver?" I asked with distaste.
"He is with a friend of his" Stella replied.
"Oh, is he now? And what are they talking about?" I asked.
"Why don't you meet his friend?" Stella motioned for me to follow her down the stairs.
I soon as I saw Oliver with his 'friend' I did a mouth drop. His 'friend' was a girl! Okay, I wasn't jealous I was just... surprised.
An idea appeared to me. This could be her. His could be the girl that Oliver hesitated to answer when I asked him if there was another girl to be his mate.
As soon as Oliver saw me, which took an awkward while since I was standing behind the girl the whole time, Oliver introduced me to his friend.
"Oh Flora, this is Candice. The girl I told you I was going to marry"
"And Candice this is-"
"Whoa-" I cut in rudely, "I don't remember you proposing to me... Where's my engagement ring? Oh right... That's because I never-"
Oliver gave me one of those baffling hugs you stop breathing between. Good thing I didn't need to breathe. "Isn't she cute. As I was saying Candice, this is Flora, an old childhood friend of mine"
I gave Oliver a raised eyebrow silently. And as soon as Oliver let go, I shook Flora's hand, "Nice to meet you Good Childhood friend of Oliver's" I stressed on those two words.
"It's nice to meet little Olive's bride to be! You have nothing to worry between Oliver and I. I just came back to visit after a month in Venice"
Omg. She even had a nick name for Oliver. They were automatically for each other. Hold up, is Oliver looking soft? Is his eyes sparkling?
"Oh, Italy? That's so exciting" I commented with a polite smile.
"Yes. Geography there is so beautiful, and people there are so friendly"
"People? Why don't you let me see people, Oliver?!" I pointed out angry.
"Darling, why see other people when I'm right here" Oliver joked.
"That's exactly my reason why" I made it seem like a joke, but it was nothing but truth.
"We'll see when then, darling" Oliver smiled patting my shoulder.
"Now Flora why don't we talk a little more before you leave. Into the garden please" Oliver waved me off as he guided Flora to the garden. Must I add he was all over her back and waste line.
I couldn't judge him. She was pretty with light brown long swinging hair and beautiful alone, green eyes. And her pale complexion made her seem flawless.
But I admit, it made me seem like I was an option if he was bored, he'd come back to play with me.
And that's how I knew.
Flora was for him. He just couldn't see it yet.
