The port of Center City lay straight ahead. Adam smiled as he went to the ships deck to see the aproaching land.

It was a magnificent site after all Center City was the most famous and important city in all Cardasia.
It lay at the very center of Cardaia where the 4 kingdoms of Hearts, Diamonds, Spades and Clubs converge.The city was independent and neutral of all the kingdoms and was governed by the Joker(not the nutcase from Batman).Thus it was ideal place where the rulers and royals of the kingdoms to meet ,converse ,make treaties and in this case beat eachother up in the spirit of unity.Adam's smile disappeared.'Just remember Kit we're not here on vacation' he said solemly. 'Huh,we're not?' she asked puzzled. 'Um yeah we're on an important national mission' 'But we got an invitation to the greatest party/game of the year and I hear no one parties as hard as Center City.' she pouted.
'Seriously I explained it to you like five times already, the Royal Flush Clash isn't just a game.It's an event in which the Royals the most important people in the kingdoms compete usually in fights to determine the year's champion nation.'
'Sounds fun and exciting' she chirped. 'Well its not.It's dangerous both physically and politically, one wrong move can mean a war!'
'Not fun' she muttered.'But come on don't you think you're over thinking this a bit.You have to learn to relax.I mean come on aren't you excitted to meet the other Ace's maybe you could make some great friends.I know I wanna meet them.I wonder if any of them are cute'
'Kit,these are one of the most powerful and important people in the kingdoms please don't do anything that might upset them.'Adam pleaded.
Kit smiled.' Jealous much?Don't worry you will always be my favourite' she said hugging him from the side.
'Um thanks I guess' he said.He usually didn't know what she was talking about but he was glad she was here.It made the whole thing easier.He was an Ace the Ace of Hearts(or simply Ace Hearts) specifically.His kingdom's hero and protector chosen by the acemark of Hearts but he was also a 15yr old kid who had no idea what he was suppose to do.But that's why he had Kit his Deuce(Deuce hearts) his partner and helper.She wasn't a royal(In fact she was far from it she was a shapeshifter that grew up in the woods) but she was the closest person to his heart not to mention his first and best friend.They have been through so much together.And whatever comes he knew it will be alright as long as she was with him.'I'm glad you're here.I would be lost without you' he added.
