Aces in the Air

"Awesome" Draco the Ace of Spades said.
The royal flush was proving to be so much fun.He liked all the destruction but he bet he could do better.

David came and glowered at him."You better win the grand prize or else" he threatened.

Draco thought for a while and decided against burning David to a crisp there and then.No good getting disqualified before his turn.He didn't consider him his king.He couldn't care less about his whole conquest plan.But he didn't care about the money either so he might as well give it to him.Maybe that way he would stop pestering him about joining his army.Wiping out the armies David sent to convince(kidnap) him was getting boring.

He looked towards the other aces and waved.He sure hoped they were powerful.It was more destroying fun that way.

Catherine the ace of Diamonds wasn't impressed by the others.She had expected them to be more royal.But nope.Ace Spades looked like a barbarian with his dragon skin jacket and shorts.The fact he wasn't wearing anything else(including a shirt) didn't help his image.What an uncouth savage she thought.Ace Clubs was no better.She looked like a peasant tomboy who decided to put on a dojo Yang fu cloth and go wild.Ace Hearts was wearing a hermit's robe.What the hades was that about?Catherine judged books by their covers and people by their cloths.She'll have to teach this plebians how she was superior to them.At least she'll have to show that to her mother.Rachel would scold her to hades if she lost.And unlike Julius Cat was sensitive when it came to her mom's derision.She had to win.

Patricia the Ace Clubs were doing push ups and stretching.She had seen Alex the strongest man loose to the Spades.
Even tho she spoke to Alex in a bratty way she respected him more than anyone b/c he was the strongest.She did her best to follow in his steps and surpass him even oneday.She had to avenge his loss to Spades.She was gonna take the Ace Spades down.

Adam the Ace Hearts felt tension all around him.He couldn't relax.One of his powers was that he could sense others' emotions.Patricia was determined, Catherine too.Draco was scarily excited.
And Adam well he was freaking out.Relax he told himself.He needed to finish what the other Hearts started if Draco took out the 3 of them he will get the grand prize.No telling what he would wish for.Even if he just managed to survive to the end of the match David will get his hands on the crystal prize and conquer the world.No matter how worried he was he couldn't let that happen.

He steeled himself as he and the other Aces entered the arena.

"This will be the greatest show yet.The Grand finale." Joker announced."The most powerful people in Cardasia meeting in a final dogfight.

It is a battle b/n the elements.

Since locations from all four kingdoms were chosen.Joker got to decide which was the place of the Ace clash.

He chose 'Olympus Heights'.It was a mountain range like the Himalayas.
It had high altitude.It got it's name b/c despite being a hard place to reach and live in a group of monks once had moved there and built d/t temples and shrines.

Since gravity around the place was weak huge chunks of rocks some the size of islands floated along the mountains.Some attributed this effect to the presence of divinities inside the shrines.It was considered hallowed grounds and the monks moved out.After all with the clouds and temples it did look a lot like what one may imagine heaven to look like.Indeed it did b/c it existed on the astral planes.
