Chapter 5

When a person has extreme social anxiety, they struggle to communicate with others. Bear in mind, they only struggle to form connections. But that doesn't mean they don't want to.

Each student at Itan high school were called to come into a room one at a time. They were giving a black stick with a circle at the top to cover their eyes with.

Tadano was first. He had to tell the teacher which way the arrow she was pointing to, with her stick, was facing. "Left. Right. Up. Left. Down. Right." Unsurprisingly, he got an average score.

Next up was Agari. "R right l left up d down". She had scored a 147. Next up was Najimi, then Shousuke. Shousuke stepped in, everyone outside watching him as he lifted his hand and put the black tool to his eye.

He looked forward as the teacher pointed to a random arrow. He looked at the teacher and then look back at the arrow. He looked as if he was about to speak when-

He pointed to the right.

Yadano POV

What? What? How did Shousuke get a high score? He didn't do anything

Yadano couldn't see Shousuke point.

Yadano Pov

HAH?! HOW DID HE GET A HIGHER SCORE THAN ME? ON THE EYE TEST? 168 - 156? HE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING?! That must be it. He bribed the teacher to getting him a high score. I can't believe he would gamble for the win. But that's fine because there are 3 more tests that I can get a higher score on and win. HAHAHHAHA! you will never beat me Shousuke Komi!

As Tadano walked along the sidewalk, a figure was sneaking up behind him until they put their hands over Tadano's mouth and-

"Hehe hello!" My name is Ren Yamai and I go to Itan private high. I am all about fashion. And lately, I have formed a sort of crush. On a certain person. Their name is Shousuke Komi.

I am currently walking behind them. Shousuke-kun is just so elegant and beautiful. The way he walks is so angelic and their hair bouncing up and down every time they take a step is to die for. And in my position, I can smell his sent from behind.

The smell of sweet cherry blossoms and the smell of- wait. Something just fell to the ground. Is that what I think it is? Gasp! It's a piece of Shousuke-kun's hair! I can tell by the texture, color, and scent.

Yep! It's his! I bring it up to my face and take in the smell of Shousuke's strand of hair. Ahh what a nice smell. I look around to make sure no one is watching me. I open my mouth and start licking the strand. One day I will make you, Shousuke Komi, my own!! No, today we can become close friends.
"Shousuke i-"
"S Shousuke-kun how can your dog be of assistance? No wait your dog shouldn't speak whenever!"

Yamai's eye was twitching. she was really trying to talk to Shousuke, but Agari just popped in. 'This is fine' she thought, 'When Agari-San leaves i can have Shousuke-Kun all to myself'!
