There were talks about Sherlock Holmes most of the time in the car. Which he did enjoy, but he just somehow, for some reason, blurring all the talks around him.
It's true hearing people talk about it puts him in a good mood.
But being in Heiji's gentle hold felt comfortable. Like he can stay like that for ages. He didn't realize he was also leaning into it. Snuggling into Heiji's chest. It felt warm, and comforting...

Of course they were cut short when they finally reached the lodge.

Heiji was the first to get out before putting Shinichi down and putting his hands on his hips and looking at him with a mad expression.
"You better not get in my way." Heiji stated before walking inside the lodge along with the other people.

Shinichi had an irritated expression before following behind.

Everyone started to introduce themselves.

Including the director and host, Kanaya.

Everything was going really good currently, a test was just told and the winner would get a copy of a Sherlock Holmes Book.

Heiji wasn't much into competition, nor did he know a lot about Sherlock Holmes. But Shinichi does.
Only problem is, he can't join cause... well he's a cat at the moment. Which seemed unfair on his part. He can feel the fire of winning in his heart but he can't even join.

Kanaya gave Heiji a spare test sheet, just in case he wanted to join in too.

Everything was going alright and they had to go back to their own rooms for the night.

Shinichi decided to stay with Hattori, just cause he's honestly the only one he knows. Everyone else is cool and all but he never really had experiences with them. Except for hattori.

As soon as heiji got to his room he plopped onto his bed. Shinichi sighed before looking at the blank test sheet.

He thought doing a little answering would be okay, and Hattori does look exhausted to the point that he's probably already passed out.

Shinichi found a pencil in one of the drawers and bit it. It was a struggle to write sideways with your mouth, but as a cat without thumbs, Shinichi had no other choice. He knew every single one of these answers, making it easy.

The next day flew by. Everyone was wondering what happened to the host. But Heiji was just glad that he didn't have to send his one in.

Not that he was embarrassed he didn't get to write any answers in, it's just that it suddenly went missing. Not only that but the black cat was gone too.

Hours and more hours came and everyone one by one started to leave the dinner. Only leaving Hattori, Kento and Ayako and the maid that watches the lodge.

Heiji yawned loudly, trying to keep awake as Ayako insisted on going to bed too, Kento refused to go back to their rooms though, and wanted to wait a while longer.

Kento turned his head before showing a puzzled expression

"Huh, isn't that the car we just came in?" Kento asks, making everyone look out the window

"Oh! That's the owner, he's driving..." Ayako Mumbled with a puzzled expression

Heiji looked closer, something seemed off and then he realized he wasn't the only one that noticed that.

"Wait..." Ayako Mumbled

"There's a cliff over there-" Kento was immediately cut off by Heiji opening the window and jumping out of it, running over to the car, though I don't think he realized that someone particularly small has sprinted along with him.
