The black neko sneezed and coughed genuinely, just yesterday at a case, he chased after the culprit in the storm. Of course the culprit was caught, but it left the weak cat a cold.
Heiji sighed.
"Next time, I should just make yah wear one of those cute lil' cat raincoats I see in the store, when we go out on cases." Heiji huffed as Shinichi grumbled in annoyance.
"You aren't making me wear one of those."
"I can if I want to, your scratches started going numb on me, guess that's what happens if you're a cat person" The boy shrugged with a snicker, making the cat roll his eyes.
"Anyways, just have some chicken soup, it's the mix so yah won't have to complain about my cooking. I made it just warm enough so ya won't burn your lil' cat tongue." Heiji says as he passed the soup onto the table, making the cat leap over onto it.
As the cat started to drink with every lick, a knock on the door was suddenly heard.
Heiji walked over to the door before opening it, puzzled to see Kazuha come in unannounced.
"Heiji, are you busy? There's a restaurant across from here, I wanted to... ask you something..." Kazuha mumbled, her face going a little red, it made Shinichi flinch slightly.
"Well- I'm taking care of my cat right now- he's got a cold-" Heiji mumbled as he turned his head back.
"Oh... I see. I'll just cancel the booking then-" Kazuha muttered with a disappointed tone, making Heiji gasp in astonishment.
"Uwah? You booked a reservation?! Why didn't you tell me! That'd be such a waste of money" Heiji says before going over closer and whispering into her ear.
"Whats the star rating for the food?"
"Around 5 to 6" Kazuha whispered back, making Heiji take a step back.
"How did yah-"
"Yeah, I wanted to go there with you, by the time I realized you might want to bring your cat again, I also saw they don't let pets in, sadly..." Kazuha looked down, making Heiji turn his head to the cat once more who had a grumpy look on its face.
"I can just bring the leftovers for Nekudo, come on then, let's go" Heiji says as he closed the front door behind him. Making Shinichi gag from shock.
He stumbled down the table and ran into his room, looking out the window.
"That brat- he just ditched me..." Shinichi grumbled as he saw the two walk farther and farther away from the house he was left in.
"And to think he would have learned something about me being left behind with Ran-"
"Seems like you really want to join them" a voice spoke out, making Shinichi yelp before turning around.
The same Familiar ginger cat was sitting beside him on Heiji's bed.
"When... how-" Shinichi mumbled out in astonishment
"Through the Kitchen, the window was open, also. Long enough to hear you blabber with yourself, do you do this often? It makes you look like a loner." Sherry states as she continued staring out the window. Ear twitching a little. The black cat noticed the ginger had a small box stringed around her body like a purse.
"So, why're you here? You wouldn't have come here for no reason." Shinichi asked, looking more sternly at the cat.
"Simple answer is, I have a drug for you to try." Sherry states, making the black cat blink a couple times, trying to process it.
