"What do you hear?"

The sounds of drops of water ringed in the ears of the black cat. Whose eyes are closed. Cars from outside zooming by their street, and a lot more.

"I obviously hear your voice, some water dropping, the car outside too." Shinichi stated, opening his eyes again and looking at the ginger neko.

"Uwah, I'm pretty sure I locked all the windows, your hearing was better than before" Heiji states in complete awe.

"Okay, Heiji, could you step back a bit?" Sherry asked, making Heiji shrug before doing as he's told.

"Can you see him clearly?"

"Yeah?" Shinichi replied, which made the ginger cat signal Heiji to move away even more.

"How about now?"

"Still do."

Heiji continued to move back.

"Wait... it's starting to get a bit blurry...." Shinichi mumbled, tilting his head.

"Hm, there's one more thing I want to try." Sherry mumbles.

"Could you turn around for a little while?"

Shinichi did as he was told.

"I don't know how this would he-" Shinichi suddenly felt some trembling under his paws. His ears twitched, it was like he could detect something's moving.

Just then a squeak from the floor made Shinichi leap away, avoiding Sherry's sudden pounce

"What the heck?!"

"Just as I thought, you're becoming more and more cat like." Sherry stated which made Heiji look at her in confusion.

"What da yah mean?"

"I mean Shinichi's mind is adapting to his cat body, you saw it right, how he acted as Shiragami-sama, and he immediately saw the fishing line, that was cause it was at the range where his cat eyesight could spot it clearly. Soon enough, more and more cat characteristics will come from him." Sherry states with a huff.

"I guess that includes me as well, great..."

"What will happen if I get too much cat characteristics?" Shinichi asked as he went back over to them

Heiji gasped in a panicked tone.
"Will he permanently become a cat- and forget about being human?!"

"Idiot!"
The two cats yelled at Heiji who suddenly had a wave of embarrassment wash over him.

"I already told you we don't lose our memories. Can't believe you're still on about that Okuho case" Shinichi grumbled.

"I do need to make a permanent drug soon, try and don't ask for the drug too much, if you keep using it, you'll get a lower chance to permanently be human again, since you'll also build a resistance to the drug and be immune to it."

"What if we find that black organization and steal one of their drugs, it permanently made Kudo a cat right, you could use it to research everything inside it, and use the same thing that drug used to make the transform permanent." Heiji spoke as he sat on the floor next to Shinichi, putting a hand on his cheek with a puzzled look on his face.

"The black organization is dangerous. You might even die before they hand you one of the drugs, and even if they do, how do you know they won't just shove it down your throat and make you one of us?" Sherry added as she laid down.

"She's right, it's too dangerous Hattori, especially alone, if only we could get some help, but if my identity gets exposed, they'll possibly kill me and everyone that knows about it, like you..." Shinichi mumbled disappointedly, a sigh escaping his mouth.
