Chapter 49

Bright walk up on to the stage, he handed the cheque and guide his wife  and help him walk down. Suddenly Win masked his reaction pretending to be angry, as he straight walk up to the patio in the yard outside of hall. Bright followed his wife behind knowing Win was eventually upset with him for some reason. Once they were outside alone in the fresh air Win turn to look at Bright in disbelief and ask "Why did you do that?. It's was suppose to be  just for fun, but.... Do you understand what other people will think?... you just humiliated me taking all this so serious and who even pay this huge just for a stupid date". Bright simply answered "I think you're overreacting. And You don't have to think about other people, Avoid everyone. They just want into your pants....  And please wife I don't want any commotion here let's just enjoy our date".

Win immediately blushed the way Bright said it, he hissed back at his husband "Oh please, who wants a date with you? And I'm not a kid. I can take care of myself". Bright began again "you don't know how many man wanted to win.....". Suddenly Lea voice interrupted Bright from talking further "Bright?.. hon there you're.... ". Lea grab Bright's arm and shot Win a look asking him "Do you mind if I can talk to my boyfriend for a minute". Win scoffed "Go right ahead. He's all yours...". Bright pulled his hand away from Lea hold and stated "Lea we can talk tommorow. Let's us get back to our date. And I don't want to make my wife feel bored just yet". Bright placed his hand on Win naked back drawing soothing circle that already started to sending tingling sensation to Win core.

Lea remark folding her hands on her chest "Bright you changed. Remember I'm the mother of your daughter?". Win rolled his eyes here we go again Bright was now already irritated with hearing the same record. Lea was acting like a pluetent child, but now Bright knew how to deal with this kind of situation he calmly stated "Lea, Win is my wife. He is the love of my life. I'll not lie anymore because lies bite in the ass big time. I know it will hurt you but I already told you several times. You're free to live your life any way you want. I'll take care of Amara. Just forget about me because I can't live without Win". Lea was all red and very angry she gingerly replied "I can see that. But can't you see, does he even deserve you Bright?, Does he care about you?. I know how he is been behaving with you?. You've been paying for all his mistakes for the past five years, isn't it enough now? I know he'll only hurt you. What was your mistake you only love me and who doesn't cheat in today's world. He is cheating on you with his Prince charming. So You don't deserve him anymore he is well off without you". For some reason knot formed in Win stomach, he just had one answer to that one tight slap. But Bright snapped this time, he felt very angry at Lea "It was not just cheating Lea, It was a lot more messy and complicated than that... And you'll not talk anything about my wife's personal life it's between me and my wife so please". Win had already heard enough he just wanted to walk away but Bright was helding him on place.

Lea stared at Bright blankly, as if she couldn't believe her ear. Lea eyes started to filled with tears and she softly said "..Bright I.... I'm sorry. I was just concerned you're still my boyfriend". Bright muttered sounding frustrating "for God sake Lea wake up. I'm not your boyfriend anymore. If you don't remember we had already broken up five years ago. How long you'll take to accept it". Tears falls down on Lea cheeks, as she whispered "I'm sorry I meddled into your personal affair... I just thought we...were . Sorry it won't happen again ". Bright sigh out "I'm Sorry Lea, just understand that I love Win. The person you used to love and care about is not the same anymore as five years ago. I was selfish, self obsessed and a disgusting husband. But now this ... Person is gift from Win, even though I only gave him heartbreak, pain and tears. I had destroyed him in more than one way", Bright looks deeply into Win eyes and said "I know what my sweet wife is doing its not out of hate, it's out of pain". Win felt chill run down to his spine hearing Bright. Lea shook her head giving the two of them her weary smile "You understand him so much, I wish you would have understood me a tiny bit. I just hope, you realize your mistake soon and come back to us". Bright breath out "Hope is dangerous word", because he know if Win is not for him,  then it won't be anyone else ever. Lea just shrug and walk away from the two giving angry words and wiping her tears from her cheeks.

Bright sigh out deeply and look at his wife face, when Win murmured "Thankyou", Bright was suddenly astonished, Win voice sounded less hostile for some reason. Win also has the small smile on his lips, though it was not the brightest one, but still Bright couldn't help but wonder maybe he did correct afterall and whatever it was he was glad to see the little change in his wife. Win again gave him a small smile, as his mouth went dry when his eyes landed unconsciously on Bright flawless chest, and his collarbone. Now only Win saw how Bright has aged like a fine wine. Never once in last five years he ever think that they would reach at this point where they stood today. Was this man even real?. Does he really look like a father of five years old. They both stared at each other blankly until Bright decided to close the space between them as he softly said "Can I say just how beautiful you're looking tonight?". Win gulped, he knew Bright was dying to touch him, but he didn't and Win was glad for that at the moment.

Bright continued as his eyes glance down at Win body "Although I'd have preferred something less revealing but damn... You're literally the most beautiful punishment I ever got". Win fought hard just not to blush or rolled his eyes but the way Bright's dark eyes slides over his body being standing so close with love and lust that made it impossible not to. Win respond raising his eyebrows "You got punished? Who would dare to punish The Great Bright Chaveeree,?. Win was genuinely curious though but his words sounded more sarcastic than ever. Bright gave his wife a sad smile answering "I've been living my punishment for the last five years. You're the most beautiful person I've ever seen". Win couldn't stop himself from rolling his eyes commenting "I'm sure Why?, The reason I got myself all dolled up for tonight function". Bright shook his head and said "I don't give a shit about all this, even you'd look beautiful wearing a burlap sack. You'll always be the same person  to me regardless of what you wear or how you decorate yourself".

Win blinked at Bright Okay something was not right here. Win doesn't know what shift between them, how the hell they're talking normally to each other. Bright was startled too, Win face wasn't totally marred with stern expression like what he always show him. His eyes weren't brimming with hatered fir him. His voice was normal too. Win said in a very soft voice "I'm not the same person anymore". Bright demanded "And who gives a fuck about that... Whatever is between us is our concerns and not about anyone else's. You're the person I love from the bottom of my heart. I don't care what you think about him, for me You're the mother of my son and you'll be my wife. My Everything...... Be Mine for tonight.  No hate. No fight. No bitterness. Just you and me" Bright step closer and leaned to pressed a soft kiss on Win temple, on the other hand Win was too jittered  with the sudden closeness to push Bright away.

Bright slowly placed his hand, on the naked back of Win as his finger started to spread protective embrace. The warmth of Bright's touch immediately seeped into Win skin  then into his bones Bright whispered near Win ear "Please just this night". Win knew no matter what happens between them atleast for tonight they can keep their difference aside afterall 100 million is not a small amount even for a billionaire. Win glanced into Bright's pleading and hopeful eyes which cause him to nods his head, as they both walk back inside the hall Bright's thumb effectively made small circles on Win's naked back sending tingles and assurance of his presence beside him through out.
