Chapter 30

Suddenly Lea entered the house, God know where she went and with whom she was but as soon as she saw Bright in his mini bar she started to yell at him "What the fuck Bright, You're drinking again tonight. I can't believe you". Bright didn't bother to answer to her or throw any glance, it's been years he paid her any heed so instead he gulped down the drink he made for himself and put the glass down on the table as he held his head in his hand sighing out and blinking back the tears which form in his eyes. Bright felt so sick of her, he is already sick of seeing her face in his house everyday, her high pitched tone, the smell of her strong perfume in the house made him feel more sick now. 'Damn I really missed my wife'. Lea marched towards Bright as she continued yelling at him "What now, Bright?, Are we going to do this for the rest of our life. I'm talking to you but you seems deaf and mute to me, since Win's death".

Before Bright could answer he heard his daughter shouted "Daddy". As she straight ran towards Bright without looking at her mother. Bright immediately shouted back when he saw Amara running on the stairs "be Careful babygirl", as he got up and met his daughter halfway. Bright pulled the little girl in his arm and ask "You were asleep babygirl". Amara spoke in her cute voice "I woke up hearing Mom voice", Bright plant a kiss on Amara cheek and start walking towards her bedroom, if not for his daughter Bright would have left Lea long ago. No matter how much he started to dislike Lea now, he can't punish his child by giving her broken family. She is the only one in Bright's life, for whom he is breathing after losing his sweet wife.

Even after years he, weren't in good terms with his parents. They all blamed him for what happened to Win. Maya and Anshuman were furious and they never wanted to see his face again. He can't blame them though, Bright know it was his fault all along and realized all his mistakes, it was his mistake to push his wife away. Amara ask innocently "Daddy why are you sad, are you feeling lonely again?". Bright smiled at her, how he wish somehow his pain and loneliness go away, and he stop feeling this never ending pain in his heart. Bright responded "Don't worry about me, Daddy just had a bad day at work". It was partially true, he needed to prepare a presentation but after working hours on it he is not sure about it, but nonetheless he can't afford to loose this important deal. Ever since Win left, it felt like Bright has lost interest in everything, including his business, nothing fit on their place anymore, like a part of him died when Win left. Bright walk inside Amara bedroom, after tucking her in the comforter, he sat beside her patting her head gently as he ask "Go to sleep, sweetheart. You still have school tomorrow don't you?". Amara nods her head in response while smiling then close her eyes. Bright sat beside her until she fell asleep then made his way towards his own master's bedroom.

As Bright reached into the hallway his eyes went on the wedding picture frame, now whenever he look at the picture he see it only perfection in it completely opposite of what he felt years ago. How he wish, he could just go back to that time and show his wife how much he loves him. If only he could turned back times. With heavy heart and teary eyes Bright walk inside his bedroom and pushed the door behind him, only for the loneliness to envelope his heart. As soon as Bright laid down and closed his eyes he, heard Win soft and sweet moans, his giggle, even his screams asking for more and more as he made love to Win again and again at the every corner in his bedroom.

Win always comes in his dream, haunting him, blaming him for his death, his tear stained face still haunted him in his sleep. But before Bright fell asleep, he felt someone's hand creeping on his chest Bright immediately opened his eyes, in shocked only to find Lea, on his bed, looking at him seductively wearing almost transparent nighty. Bright instantly yanked her hand and shot a dagger firing at her "What are you doing here?. You know very well that you're not allowed in this bedroom Lea". Lea shouted back pretending to be hurt and she sounded betrayed "Until when you're going to treat me like this Bright. Win is long dead. Why are you intend to keep him alive, for how long dammit?. Bright answered her "Until I'm alive. Win will always be alive in my heart". Lea shot back "How about me?, You used to love me? You also promised to marry me Bright". Bright once again felt guilty, but he can't do much about it. He fell out of love with Lea long back but until he realized the fact it was too late. If it wasn't for his daughter, he wouldn't let Lea stay in his house. Bright thought Lea had already compromise as they hardly speak in the past five years but hearing Lea today it seems to him that she will never settled for anything less. Bright stated firmly, emphasizing each words to wake Lea up from her dream "I'm already married Lea. I don't love you. I will always love Win. I'm Sorry". It was important to make Lea realize that it's no longer possible for him to get married to her.

Lea retorted back "You and Your Wife's death made your marriage null and void Bright. You had all the time in the world to marry me, love me.... That is.. if you really wanted too". Bright look away, he know that Lea is the mother of his daughter, maybe in future Amara would ask him, why her parents don't love each other and stay in separate rooms, but that is in the future to answer, it's felt wrong on every level to marry Lea. He could have married, and moved on but he still can't and don't want too. Bright breath out "I still can't Lea. I can't marry you anymore. I only love Win, My heart ... It's tied to Win only. No matter how much I try I can't forget my Win. I just can't. My heart not only remember his name but every single things about him. Now if you'll excuse me. I need to sleep. Please lock the door when you leave".

Bright once again laid down on his bed, rested his hand on his eyes to fell asleep but instead of peace and sleep, he find Lea crawling on his body after taking off her nighty. As Bright felt Lea body against his, he got very furious as he grabs Lea both arms and pushed her forcefully down on the floor. He look at her angrily then roared like a thunder at Lea who was already hissing in pain "Why did you do that?". She cried out "Bright.. I just". Before she complete her sentence Bright eyes flared with anger at her as he shouted "Get out... Get the fuck out of my bedroom and next time you try something like this I'll throw you out of my house". Lea did not wait even for a second Bright's words she fled out crying, grabbing her nighty, without glancing at Bright, she slammed the door hard before leaving Bright's bedroom.

Bright let out a heavy breath, and sat on his bed, he grabs the picture frame of smiling Win from his bed side table and held it to his chest hugging it tightly as if he's hugging his sweet wife. Suddenly everything happened on the day flashed in front of his eyes. How much he begged and cried to rescue team to find his wife. He remember how his breathing stopped looking at his wife's wrecked car. He clearly remember how his world shattered on that day when he received a call that his wife had an accident. He remembers how he came to realize that he love Win more then anyone in this whole world. How much Win means to him, but it was too late. Bright cried "I miss you my love. I wish I can see you, touch you, kiss you, hold you in my arms. Please come back to me".

Win placed the file down, as he stared into the blank spot. The shine and excitement in his eyes were new and adventures. This is Win, five years ago he was lost, scared, dead but in the same breath he was relief too be away from his toxic life. After five years the thrill was new inside him. This was his new life, he changed by rubbing the salt clean and trying again until he succeed. Win figured out what he want, how to love himself, how to achieve his goal and most important how to be happy in life . Starting his own business was probably the best decision he has made for himself. Of course it hasn't been easy, it was the fact, and a toughest choice he had ever made but he was glad he did. No wonder time flies, It's been five years since he had that car accident. It's been five years since everyone believe that he's dead. It's been five long years since he had seen the people who hurt him. Day voice break the chain of Win thought as he enter inside Win private office "Hey babe, you seems troubled, need any help for tommorow presentation".

Win rolled his eyes, in response saying "Don't worry, consider it's a done deal. We'll easily snatch this contract from him". After saying he let out a laugh contentedly. At this point Win got everything in his life. A Prince charming at his service, who fulfill all his command and love him unconditionally. A sweet child, who means world to him. And a business that already making its name. Literally at this point there's nothing Win could ask for more. However no matter how much he smile and feel loved, it's still feels empty and was still not enough. The anger is still in his heart and he know he can't move forward until he takes his revenge.

Something stirred in his mind and heart. The feeling was so overwhelmed at the moment that he know he had to give his best in tommorow's presentation. Now it's the time screw Bright Chaveeree, five years was long enough. Gone was the old lovesick Win Metawin. He's now dead. Right here and now is the new version of him. Someone who had driven by the hatred and fueled by raging fire. He is someone who had strong will and personality cold, manipulative and bit.ch. Talking about bit.ch he pulled Day collar and ask "How about helping me by scrubbing my back while I shower?", He didn't wait for Day answer because the poor Prince had already been dragged out of Win private office.
