Chapter 55

Win gave Bright a dirty look before he took Light inside to talk, Win held Light both hand, his face expression that shown unspeakable pain flooded inside his body and heart light softly ask "Mommy You don't want to meet Dad?" . Win just now realized that even five years was not enough to forget that the women who tried to kill him once and unborn child is still living with Bright in his house, that women is still in his life and this was the biggest reason Win doesn't want Bright to get involve with Light. That women can go any extent for Bright and having Bright around his son's makes him scared for some reason that Bright is completely clueless. All the memories of past still lingered inside him that make him want to protect his son from all bad things. Why does Bright have to be impatient and so desperate for Light. Win still got miles to run before he start Bright and Light episode. He really hate to imagine Light and Bright connection would getting deeper than anything in no time. He absolutely didn't like the way Bright barge in his house today and forcing himself on him. He still doesn't have an ounce of trust on Bright with Light specially when that S of a women is around him. Win whispered to his son "Baby do you really want your Dad?". Light nodded his head blankly then answered "Light want Mommy and Dad both. Let's go meet Dad. I want Dad, Mommy. I want to meet him now". Win sigh and closed his eyes.

Light held his Mommy hand and started pulling him up saying "Let's go Mommy. Let's meet Dad". Win walk back towards the main door where Bright was still waiting patiently leaning his back on the door. Win stop at a distance in front of Bright then crouched down beside Light breathing out while pointing at Bright "Light sweetheart. Dad is in front of you?". Win felt knot in his stomach as words left from his mouth. Light look at Bright with his dark and big eyes causing Bright to smile sweetly at his son. Then Light turned towards Win stare him blankly then Bright again he confusingly ask "Where's Dad?". Win pointed to Bright and said softly "Baby, he's right there. Your Sir Bright, is your real Dad. Want to go to him?". To both surprised Light eyes glisten with tears in a blink that made Bright and Win panick. Shit what's wrong now?. Win softly ask holding Light both cheek in his hand "Light sweetheart... What... What's wrong?". Light didn't reply he just stared once again at Bright face and ran back towards his bedroom in jet speed. Bright face was half panick and half shock he look at Win who seems to have same expression. What the hell just happened?. Didn't he wanted Dad?.

Bright took few steps closer to Win and whispered "Fuck, he already hates me?". Win rolled his eyes seriously one child was not enough now, he wants to be one Win retorted "He's just a kid Bright. He doesn't know hate. Jeez ". Bright sounded irritate on himself asking "Then Why did he ran away like that?. What happened to him?". Bright never wanted to upset his son in any way specially on his special day. He just wanted to make his son very happy. Win snapped back "I don't know Bright. Lemme go and see", then he walk away in the direction where Light ran away. Win slowly open the door and peeked inside. Light was sitting on the bed, with a pout, folding his hand on his chest. Win went inside slowly and ask "Okay, what's wrong sweetheart?. Aren't you happy to see Dad?. Isn't that what you wanted?". Light look back up at Win face with unknown emotions then ask "Is he really Dad?". Win softly answer "Yes He is Light's Dad sweetheart".

Light ask again "If he is my Dad. Why did he lie to Light?. Isn't lying a bad thing?. Don't bad people lie, Mommy?". Oh after hearing Light question, Win felt relieved this is not his mess to sort out. Win smile sweetly and said "Why don't you ask this to Dad. I'm sure Dad will never lie to Light and he'll answer all your questions". This is nice now Bright Chaveeree will taste his own medicine. It'd be fun to see Bright answer honestly to his five years old son. Win called loudly "Bright?". He was already standing outside Light bedroom. In a moment Bright slowly peeked inside the room looking all nervous as hell. He stepped inside his son bedroom with fast heartbeat. Win gets up from Light bed he folded his arms on his chest and said sarcastically "I think it's time you should answer to your son's questions Dad. I'm sure honesty won't be a problem to you now. Afterall only bad guys lie. You aren't a bad guy Right Dad,....or Are You?". Win smirk at his husband.

Bright eyes darken at that but chose to shook his head saying "I'll answer all the question Light wants to ask". He turned his head towards Light who suddenly shy away from Bright. Just this small thing look so sweet and adorable to Bright. Win moved away aside so that Bright could take his seat and answer his son. And For some reason Win was really eager to see Bright honestly answer their son's question. Bright softly called "Light Buddy, aren't you happy to see Dad?". Light gaze up to look at Bright face who gave him soft smile in return. The softest smile on Bright's face, made Win frown, he had never seen this kind of sweetest smile for himself ever.

Light ask "Are you really Dad?". Bright nodded his head saying "Yes buddy. I'm your Dad. Light, don't like Dad?. I remember Light said that he loves Dad very very much?". Win frown again hearing Bright when the hell his son said that?, Seriously since when these two are meeting behind his back and what the hell he was doing that time?. Light again ask "If you're my Dad, why didn't you tell me when we met in the park?". Bright clear his throat nice, he need to think of something to explain. He glanced at Win, who was intently waiting to hear his answer too bright started "because ... Because Dad wanted to surprise Light on his birthday. It something Mommy and I planned for Light's fifth birthday. That's why I didn't tell you in the park. We thought Light will be very happy to meet Dad on his birthday. But I guess.... He's not happy ... Maybe I should just leave then ". Before Light could react to that Win respond in agreement "Yes, that would be a good idea".

Bright look at his wife with hurt filled eyes causing Win to stare back at him coldly. But Light had an horrified expression hearing Bright, he vigorously shook his head "No, Please don't leave Dad. Light Love Dad very much". Bright look at his son with soft gaze and same Sweet smile as relief flodded in his heart. He softly reach out and stroke Light's chubby cheeks with his thumb and ask "You really love Dad, Light?". Light nods his head at Bright. Bright added "Can you call me Dad, please?". Light brightly smile at his father that could easily light up Bright's entire room. Light happiness was totally visible on his face after finding his Dad. Light smile he clap his hand squealing "Dad.. Dad" and to which Win horror and surprised Bright eyes filled with tears, streaming down to his cheeks.

Just for a moment Win wanted to hold Bright close, but he held himself back and silently watch his husband getting all emotional. Bright pull Light into his arms, and held him on to his chest. This time Bright held his son so tight that Win was afraid that he'd crush his son and like always Light wrapped his tiny arm around Bright body,patting his back gently. Bright whispered on his son's head "I'm sorry son, Dad is so sorry for not finding you before. For being so late. I'm so sorry sweetheart for everything". Bright gaze towards Win, obviously his words were directed to him. But in response Win immediately look away. He was afraid he'd cry as he still can't believe Light finally met his real Dad on his birthday and putting his pain and hatered aside Win was really happy for his son. Happy and grateful that Bright came on his son's fifth birthday and accepted him as his son.

Light pulled himself apart from Bright and ask "Dad are you sad again?". His small and chubby hands reached out to wipe Bright's tears from his cheeks. Bright smile saying "No no I'm not sad" he planted soft kiss on Light forehead. He continues "Dad is just so happy to come to see Light and Mommy today". Win clenched his jaw and tried his best to keep his face cold. Light ask in concerned tone "You'll not leave us like Day Daddy does everytime?". Bright shook his head and answer assuringly "No never, I'll never leave Light and Mommy alone". Win so badly wanted to protest to that but he knew he can't at the moment. Afterall this is what his son wanted. Of course they can't live under the same roof just yet, it's okay to have Bright around for few hours. And this is what he'd need to discuss with his husband in alone. He doesn't want to ruin his son happiness after all this. Win stared at the two, though he wanted to feel happy from the bottom of his heart but some kind of unknown fear was still lingered in his heart which Light will never understand and Bright will never believe until he gets some solid proof. Light suddenly called Win loudly "Mommy did you hear what Dad said. He's going to stay with us. Didn't I told you? He won't leave us alone. Aren't you happy, Mommy?". Win answer "Yes sweetheart Yes I'm very happy... ". He blink realizing he was staring blankly at the two Win smiles when Light grabs his hand in one and Bright's in another squealing "It's going to be light's Best birthday ever with Mommy and Dad".
