Vampires?

Rosaria let out a sigh of defeat,  knowing she couldn't keep it hidden forever.

"Come with me" she beckoned coldly gesturing for you to follow. Which you did without question. It felt like you were a lamb led to slaughter entering what felt like a cult meeting.

The room was dimly lit, five others sat inside three women and two men. Their eyes were locked on you almost trying to read you from the second you walked in.

All were pale with stoic faces as if they had never seen the sun in their life... Or smiled.

"Thats Eula, Ei, Miko, Xiao and Diluc", she introduced pointing to each person.

"What the hell are you doing Rosaria?", Diluc growled.

"She was going to find out one way or another. It's better if we tell her"she explained grabbing a seat for you making a space for you in the circle. You sat down looking around at the others they all glared daggers at you. Their cold eyes tearing you apart without saying a thing.

"What did I see last night Rosaria?" You asked

"It was you there last night?"

Based off your silence she knew the answer letting out a sigh of defeat. She wished you had found out under better circumstances, but it seemed this was as good as it got.

"This'll be hard for you to believe but... Everyone here are Vampires"

You couldn't believe what you were hearing, it made sense but hearing her admit it.

"what the fuck Rosaria!" Eula yelled at her a raging fire burnt in her eyes but was quickly shushed by the others.

"I knew there was something about you, but I didn't know what" you told her shifting your gaze to the ground avoiding any unnecessary eye contact.

"But why are you telling me now? What's with this. Meeting?" You questioned further.

"The creature that hunted you yesterday was a Vampire, all those animal attacks are vampires" she explained

"A Vampire is targeting her?!" Xiao yelled with almost a hint of concern in his voice.

"Is that why you killed one?" Miko added

"Yes and soon they'll all be after us"

"So we stop them" Diluc suggested

"Before it's too late" Ei added

"Slow down what makes you guys different from the new Vampires", you asked. They all looked at you like you were stupid. Rosaria quickly pulled you out of the room to explain. Pulling you away from the harsh glares, mainly from eula.

"These new Vampires they're here for the hunt of new blood, they're here to kill and take over" she explained, concern heavily lining her hushed voice.

"If you don't kill humans then what do you eat?" You asked
This was the question you dreaded, the possibilities of her answer terrified you bit you refused to show it.

"We only feed on animals and willing humans, we don't turn them, or kill them" she explained, really emphasizing the word willing. Almost as if she were hinting at something but you ignored it. This explained the coldness to her skin and why she was so pale... And what you saw last night.

The two of you returned to the room finding the others in deep discussion.

"So we all agree, we put a stop to it now before it gets worse?" Diluc asked which everyone agreed to

"We can meet again tomorrow. Rosaria I suggest you take your little... Pet home" Eula almost growled clear aggression in her voice as she looked you up and down.

"We expect to see you tomorrow newbie", Xiao stated before leaving.

"What does he mean?" You asked turning to Rosaria.

"You're part of the Coven now Vampire or not", Ei told you giving you a shoulder Pat before leaving.

Her words left you speechless, it's too late to turn back now even if you wanted to.

One by one the others left the room only leaving you and Rosaria who looked almost ready to explode with rage.

"I know you told me to stay away but. I'm sorry but I just can't do that", you told her.

In those few months of knowing Rosaria you had grown to like her. Maybe as more than a friend to leave her now pretend that she never existed just the thought of it breaks your heart.

"Why? I warned you to keep you safe. It's going to be dangerous" her anger seemed to have toned down a lot.

"Thats why Rosaria, it's dangerous
I want to stay with you"

As soon as you finished your sentence Rosaria pulled you close crashing her lips onto yours. It was as if she could read your mind. She liked you? Just as much as you liked her. You kissed back just as passionately her cold skin seeming to cool the blush in your cheeks. She wrapped her arms around you keeping you close as possible. You felt the cold metal of her rings graze the back your neck as you melted into the kiss.

You could feel you're heart pounding in your chest as you pulled away for air.

"You should get home, the others will worry" she whispered brushing her hand across your cheek, quickly dismissing what had just happened.

You couldn't find the words to say, it was as if the kiss had stolen them right from you. You gave a nod of agreement but quickly wrapped Rosaria in a hug, before the two of you parted ways. Exiting the staff door, you now took full notice of the dense woods behind Rosarias work place. Where the first "animal attack" occured. You continued to your car locking the doors once you were inside, beginning the drive back to your home.

You entered the dark house as quietly as you could, careful not wake anyone. The second you closed the front door a lamp turned on revealing a slightly irritated Bennett and Xiangling. The action caused you to jump slightly, you weren't expecting anyone to be up.

"What are you two? My parents" you joked trying to brush off the fact you just came home at 4am.

"We want to know what's happening", Xiangling stated her and crossed with Bennett nodding in agreement. They truly made this feel like some good cop bad cop interrogation.

"I went out?"

"And your back at 4am?" Xiangling questioned raising her voice slightly, still careful to not wake xinqiu and chongyun.

"Where'd you go?"
Bennett added.

"Ok you two need to calm down a bit. You'll wake the others and I'm home perfectly fine aren't I?" You explained but neither seemed very amused by your answer.

"Where do you think I went? REALLY think about it", you added dragging it out as if the answer was obvious.

"You were with Rosaria?" Xiangling questioned which you replied with a nod.

"That still doesn't answer why you were out so late." Bennet chimed in

"We lost track of time", you replied simply. You saw Xiangling almost holding back laughter now.

"Yeah Bennett they lost track of time", she repeated making a kissing face.

You did your best to ignore Xianglings "joke" but couldn't help laughing a bit at Bennett's reaction and how much Xiangling was now laughing.

"Ok is this interrogation over? Can I go to bed?" You asked in a joking tone

"Alright alright. But next time tell us when your going out to see your girlfriend" Xiangling said raising her eyebrows.

You let out a slight groan of annoyance, they were never going to let this go. You flopped into your bed checking your phone one last time finding a text from Rosaria.
