Despite how well she masked it, you could see the pain behind Rosarias eyes. You just couldn't believe what you were hearing. She was gone..? Dead.
You could feel your heartbeat and feel it ringing in your ears. You barely knew her yet the news of her death stunned you. You worried for Ei along with all the others fighting alongside them. Had anyone else been badly injured?

A clicking sound Infront of your face snapped you out of your thoughts Rosaria looking deeply into your eyes.

"We need to get you out of here. It's not safe anymore", she told you glancing around for a nurse to get you discharged.

"What do you mean? I thought you got rid of the other vampires?", You replied speaking the last word in a hushed tone.

"We thought so too, but this is bigger. There's more and the true mastermind was simply using the other three... Theres still so much we don't know", she continued before leaving the room, the rapid sound of her heels on the floor being deafening.

Rosaria returned a few moments later with doctor close behind carrying a few papers. They explained the dangers of leaving early and expressed that it was your decision clearly shooting a suspicious glance at Rosaria.
You trusted Rosaria and you were more than ready to leave this hospital paying very little attention to their overdramatic warnings, you agreed to the early discharge.
After signing the papers without another moment of hesitation, Rosaria helped you out of the hospital to her car.
Gently placing you on the passenger seat of the car she carefully clicked the seatbelt for you, before giving you a quick peck on the lips. Even small things always seemed to bring a blush to your cheeks.

Rosaria began driving in silence seeming to be on very high alert. She brought you to a familiar building, the home of Lisa and Jean.

Carefully helping you out of the car Rosaria walked you to the front door before ringing the doorbell.
"Wait here I'll be back soon. Ok", she spoke before racing back to the car not giving you a chance to answer.

"Y/N. You're ok. Thank goodness", Lisa greeted pulling you into a hug being very careful not to cause any pain.

Helping you inside she sat you on the couch before calling Jean to the room.

"How are you feeling Y/N", Jean greeted taking a seat next to you on the couch, concern very clear in her face. You quickly confirmed that everything was ok before Jean began questioning you about the attack.

"Did you happen to see who it was?", She questioned placing a comforting hand on your shoulder. Your mind flashed back to that night, the murderous look on his face, eyes burning with rage.

"Yes. Yes I did", you replied averting your eyes to the ground.

"Who was it?", Lisa chimed in slight anger hidden behind her voice. You hesitated a moment before answering.

"It was my ex", you saw Jean and Lisa share a look of concern.
"But he wasn't... Human", you continued almost reliving that night, his inhumane abilities.

"Was he... A vampire?", Jean asked

"Yes... I think he was"

Now Jean and Lisa looked quite concerned, Jean was about to ask another question when the sound of the front door interrupted her.

"Ready to go Y/N?", Rosaria asked, seeming to be in a rush.

"Slow down Rosaria, we have a lot to discuss", Lisa gesturing her to join you.

"There's no time. Y/N we need to go. Now", she continued her tone filled with urgency the others quickly picking up on it. Saying quick goodbyes, you joined Rosaria in the car. Giving one final wave to Lisa and Jean, you noticed the look or worry and almost suspicion on their faces. Pulling away from the small home Rosaria began driving down an unfamiliar road.
