Chapter Eight : Whatever

*this whole chapter is Eddie's POV*

I had dropped y/n off at school and her & Chrissy ran off to English together I got out the van when Jason approached me. What does he want now. "I think you should know what y/n says about you" i rolled my eyes at him not believing him but I still listened to what he had to say. "You know her and Chrissy are best friends and we are still going out. I know everything she says. She said she regrets talking to you. And she thinks your a freak who shouldn't be around her brother, she only let you stay the weekend for a dare" he laughed at me. Steam came out of my ears I budged past him and to English. I walked in still mad and I went and sat on the table farthest away from y/n and every time I looked at her I got more mad. What he said had to be true. No one else knew I stayed at hers the weekend

*skip to lunch*

I see y/n and Chrissy walking in, they ignored Jason and when they came over to my table I looked at her in disgust. I could see her eyes start to water and Chrissy took her to another table, I kept looking over at her. I love her why would she do this to me? Am I just a game to her. I was wrapped in my own thoughts when suddenly.

"Earth to Eddie?" Dustin was waving his hand in front of my face. "What Dustin?" I said still angry but calmer as I know it wasn't him who did me wrong. "Me and Mike was saying we need another sub for friday as Lucas has his basket ball game" that made me more angry but I just couldn't anymore "fine get a sub" I said as I bit into my sandwich and stayed silent whilst everyone else was trying to figure out who can sub.

*time skip to end of school*

I headed to my van ready to leave when suddenly I remembered "shit I'm y/n and Dustin's lift" I mumbled to myself carefully banging my head on my van, I couldn't just leave them especially Dustin.
Dustin came running over "shot gun" he said as he got into the front I just smiled, he was a good kid not his fault that his sister is a bitch.

I was waiting for y/n when Chrissy came up. "I was uh- wondering if you'd give me a lift. Y/n is getting a lift off Jason as she doesn't want to be around you and now I don't have a ride home" her saying that made me so angry and confirmed what Jason had said was true. I kicked Dustin out the front seat and sent him to the back as Chrissy got in I looked over to see Y/n her eyes started watering watching. I got
Mad and ran round to the drivers seat and started driving off when I see the tears go down her face and then Robin run up to her.

"Why aren't we waiting for y/n?" Dustin asked looking around seeing us drive off "oh she got pulled into the teachers office for some work so she said to get her later" I lied through my teeth as Chrissy nodded. Dustin shrugged as we headed home, I dropped off Dustin first and he ran into the house, I looked over to Chrissy and she gave her address.

"You know I haven't watched a movie with someone in what feels like decades" she said clearly hinting. I wanted to try and hurt y/n as much as she hurt me, if she even cared about me. "Hey we could go family video and get a film to rent if you want?" I said to her expecting a no, she lit up in a smile. "I would LOVE that!" She said still smiling "I gotta do some deals first and then we'll do it? You can sit in the van if you want then head back to my trailer" I said as I put the radio on she nodded in agreement.

*time skip to video store*

Me and Chrissy pulled up at the video store 2 hours later. We walked into the video store and Chrissy started looking around "Can you guys recommend any horrors?" I said whilst tapping his fingers on the counter "oh or a romance!" Chrissy yelled across the store "Oh I have a GREAT film recommendation it's called 'don't fool me' it's about a guy who sleeps with a girl and spends the whole weekend with her and then the next week gets with her best friend and the girl from the weekend finds out and kills them in a motel" Robin said very passive aggressive what's her problem?. I chuckled a bit "I think Friday the 13th would be fine" I said as Chrissy put the tape down "Okay that'll be 3.99" Steve said as Robin bagged the video I put the change on the side and we left.

I walked out then "hey we can get a romance too" I said to Chrissy as I turned around to walk back in "oh I think we'll get one more fi-" I couldn't finish my sentence when looked over and see  Steve standing between y/n legs. I froze there for a second before saying anything. "Y/n?" i added on staring at her and Steve, Steve helped her jump off the side and she turned to look at me "Eddie" she said clearly upset with me, but why was she upset with me?! She's the liar! I kept thinking to myself

"Whatever" I said rolling my eyes and leaving the store again I could here them start laughing. Chrissy looked at me wondering where the other film was
"y/n was in there" I said feeling my face getting hot from anger, she nodded and we walked back to the van and drove to my place and we sat down to watch the film. I was quite upset but I started to calm down watching it when I could feel Chrissy getting closer to me, I thought nothing of it and wrapped my arm around her and rested my hand on her shoulder and she sunk her head into my chest and her arm round my waist. It didn't feel right but I didn't care, we ended up falling asleep like that.
