Chapter Fifteen : im okay

Monday 25th November 1985
TW: bleeding, Stabbing and trauma

It's been nearly a month since the Halloween party and people had started rumours about me dating Steve 'the hair' Harrington, none of them were true but I never denied them neither did he as it wound up Eddie and though I'm being nice I still got to be petty, Dustin and Mike had been sitting at a different table to Eddie as Dustin was still upset that Eddie cheated on me which I never told him he found out when Chrissy came back to the table I convinced him enough for him to carry on with hellfire club but he still wasn't ready to talk to Eddie.

I was walking around with Robin around the cafeteria as I was complaining to Robin how I've put on weight lately and I need to get new jeans as my leggings are barely cutting it now. "Are you on your period? That came make you bloated" she asked seriously "no I haven't had my period since the beginning of Septem-" we both looked at eachother "oh shit" we said in unison as we turned round and bolted out the doors and I crashed into Eddie yet again.  "Sorry Munson" I yelled as I got back up and carried on running out the school "shit, shit shit shit" I started yelling as we got to the shop at the end of the road.

Me and Robin ran to get about 5 pregnancy tests because you can never be too sure can you? We paid $10 for all of them and bolted back to the school before lunch was over. We ran into the bathroom and made sure we was alone "can't believe I've only been here for just over 2 months I've been cheated on, betrayed and now I'm taking a pregnancy test in the school toilets" I whined "hurry up" Robin laughed at me.

I took 2 tests with the same pee and put them back in the boxes to wait the 3 recommended minutes.
Them 3 minutes felt like years. I handed Robin the boxes to look at cause I couldn't. She pulled them out and that face was all I needed to know to confirm it, she handed me the tests and there it was two big bold lines. Two big bold positive pregnancy tests.

Me and Robin looked at eachother for a second "ready to be an aunt?" I teased "ready to be a mum?" She teased back we both ended up laughing. Just my luck. We still had 20 minutes of lunch left so we strolled back to the cafeteria and I walked over to Eddie "we need to talk  after school. It's serious" I said clutching onto the pregnancy tests so no one else would see his eyes widened and I see a a small smile creep and he nodded I walked back off to Robin and we sat down on the bench she had grabbed some some snacks at the shop so we didn't  go without lunch completely.

"How many times did you guys sleep together?" She asked looking genuinely serious. "Just the once that Friday of the weekend he first ever stayed round" I answered shrugging putting the tests in the bag.

Lunch had finished and we set off to our classes I had history with none other then Eddie, the last lesson of the day too. I went and sat straight in the back and Eddie came and sat next to me "was they pregnancy tests y/n?" He said quietly so no one else can hear "I will talk to you after school Munson" i replied through my teeth. "I'm taking Chrissy home" he said looking at me "tell her to get a ride off Jason I do not care" I said sternly already regretting telling him. "Okay" he mumbled.

We got through class somehow still next to eachother. The bell had rang and I went to find Robin to let her know I was going with Eddie and to tell Steve I'll see him at family video. She nodded and I went off to Eddie's van where I see Chrissy storm off angry. I giggled to myself walking over to Eddie snd getting in his van.

"Where do you want to go?" He asked as he started driving off. "Your place" I said shrugging. He nodded and off we went it was a quiet ride. Once we got to his trailer we see his uncle "oh Wayne!" I ran up and hugged him "y/n! God I missed you" he said hugging me back "I'm so glad you're here I've got some news I think you would like to know" I said pulling away from the hug "alright but got to make it quick I need to leave soon for work" he sat down on the sofa with Eddie. God how was I going to do this.

I just handed them a pregnancy test each, lucky I did two I guess. They both looked at them shocked them up at me then each-other "surprise" I giggled doing little jazz hands. "When did you find out?" Wayne asked "today at lunch in the girls toilets" I shrugged "well that's quite a way" Wayne laughed Eddie was there silent staring at the test "is it mine?" He asked.
I look at him for a moment I'm disbelief he would actually ask that but I took a deep breath.

"No actually it's the muffin mans but thought I'd tell you first." I said sarcastically "of course it's yours, I've only ever slept with you" I scoffed.
"I've been hearing about the rumours of you and Steve" he said looking at the test "yep all rumours sugar, I love Steve but not like that he's got a new girlfriend actually her name is Penelope she's quite lovely really" I said smiling.

"So the rumours were lies?" He asked still looking at the test "yep" I responded. "Well this seems like a conversation you guys need to have so I'll be heading off to work now congratulations y/n" Wayne said as he hugged me goodbye and walked out. I sat down on the sofa next to Eddie and just waited for him to say something.

"You kissed Steve at the party" Eddie said still not looking at me "yeah we was both pretty drunk and hated it, we only did it to kind of take the piss out of you and Chrissy" I laughed "Are you keeping it?" He finally looked at me. "Of course I'm keeping it you don't have to be involved but I thought you should kno-" and with that sentence Eddie smashed his lips onto mine kissing me.

I pushed him off me "woah woah Eddie what you doing?" I asked confused "I'm kissing the mother of my child" he said seriously. "Uh yeah I think not, don't forget you're with Chrissy. You have broken my heart and trust twice now for Chrissy" I said backing away. "Im sorry y/n I am" he said grabbing my hands. "We're just friends Munson" I said moving my hands away "but we're having a baby?" He said confused "doesn't mean we need to be together Eddie you lost that chance the day you turned up to the party with Chrissy" I said as I stood up and left his trailer.

I had walked from Eddie's trailer to family video where Steve and Robin was "guysssss" I said as I finally walked in they both ran over to me and hugged me "Robin told me the news! How's our little niece/nephew cooking?" He laughed. "Cooking fine their dad on the other hand Jesus" I giggled "tell us what happened" Robin gasped as Steve helped me into the counter and stood between my legs as per usual.

I went on to explain what happened with Eddie, "he tried to kiss you?! What is with this guy" Steve face palmed processing what I said "I know right!" I rolled my eyes as Steve helped me off the counter "anyways guys I need to get home and tell my mum the news" I giggled and they nodded, I put my Walkman on and started walking home I was about 5 minutes away when I felt someone grab my arm "what the-" I turned round and it was Chrissy "why can't you just stay away from Eddie!" She huffed at me. "Dude chill I was literally telling him some news that's it" I rolled my eyes and started to walk off when I suddenly Jason and his minions jumped out and started attacking me "yeah I know you're pregnant" Chrissy said standing over me. I was on the floor when I heard someone yelling at them to stop and they all run off.

It was Eddie and Steve who started chasing them and Robin came and checked me over "you're fine
y/n" she said whilst trying to pick me up "Robin I'm bleeding" I said looking at her dead in the eye, she looked down and she saw the blood pooling around where one of them had stabbed me directly in the stomach. She put her hand over it to stop the bleeding and screamed for Eddie and Steve but by that point I had passed out.
