Chapter Twelve : present

Monday October 21st 1985

It had been 3 weeks since me and Eddie started fake dating. I was falling for him hard and we was still acting like a couple after school, we'd still kiss and make out when at home and out but I don't know if it's just keeping up the charade or if he genuinely wanted me to be his girlfriend?

It wasn't that long until we'd been "dating" a month but I was unsure if I should get him something or not, I was walking through the mall with Robin after school when I see it a jewellery shop that you can get engraved with. I grabbed Robin's hand and ran in there "how much would be it to get that red and black ring with just one letter?" I asked the guy behind the counter. "$40" he responded looking me up and down, my mouth widened with a smile.

"GREAT! I'll have it with the letter (the initial of your first name) on the inside please!" I said very enthusiastically. "Okay $40 but it will be an extra $10 if you'd like it in a black velvet box with a bow" the guy said still not believing I'd do it, I smiled and grabbed my purse taking $50 out and handing it to him. "When can I pick it up?" I asked he was shocked that I handed the money over no hesitation to which he nodded "an hour" he said as he took the money and I walked out the shop. "Be back 6:30pm" I said smiling.

"You guys are fake dating with you getting him an anniversary present?" Robin said looking at me confused. "Because" I said looking at her seriously "I love him" I added which her face went shocked, she didn't say anything else but nodded. We walked round different shops grabbing some ice cream and new clothes "do you think Eddie will do anything? I know it's our one month and it's fake but still?" I said looking over at Robin who was stuffing her face with ice cream "oh definitely" she said smiling up at me.

We walked back to the shop and I picked the ring up and we headed home, Eddie was picking us up so I put the gift in one of my clothes bags so he couldn't see it, we walked over to his van when he grabbed me and kissed me "gorgeous" he said looking me up and down I playfully hit his chest and put my stuff in the back of the van with Robin as I jumped up into the front. Eddie started the car and dropped Robin off first before dropping me off.

He grabbed my bags for me and brought them to my room for me, I know he just wanted an excuse to be alone with me as usual but as soon as he put the bags down he stood there until I sat on the bed and as soon as he did he ran over to me and jumped on me smothering me with kisses which made me laugh.
"Alright Ed's calm down" I said through my laughing, he flopped down beside me and pulled me into a cuddle.

We was laid like that for a few minutes before "y/n! Eddie!" My mum started calling us downstairs. We walked down to be greeted by pizza take out. We both smiled and sat down at the table and started eating, our tea. Eddie and Dustin was talking about d&d whilst me and Mum was talking bout school.

"Would I be able to stay over tonight Miss.Henderson?" Eddie said turning us attention to mum. "Yeah that'll be fine" she responded smiling. Eddie put his hand on my thigh and squeezed which sent tingles up my spine.

Me and Eddie finished up and headed upstairs to get ready for bed, Eddie had stripped off to his boxers as I handed him his sweats he leaves here and I stripped off completely and got into my Smurf pyjamas, I felt comfortable enough around Eddie to not care about being naked.

We got into bed and cuddled. It was only 9pm so we was both still awake. "Wanna watch a film?" I turned to look at him. "Of course" he said as I got up and started sifting through what films I had. "Ahhh ghostbusters" I said laughing "it's always ghostbusters with you" he said teasing "because it's a good film!" I said laughing as I pressed play and climbed into bed.

It was about 20 minutes into the film and I was laying on my back and Eddie was laid with his head on my right boob and his hand on my left, I didn't mind much it was comfortable. I noticed he had started to rub his thumb across my nipple ever so gently which sent chills down my spine each time I bit my lip a little and he moved is head up to the crook of my neck and started leaving kisses.

He slowly started moving his hand down my stomach until he reached the top of my shorts, he was still kissing my neck and ever so gently biting it when he moved his hand down to on top of my privates and gently started tracing over it which sent tingles flying everywhere.

"Do you want to princess?" He said looking up at me and I froze remembering everything that happened last time. He noticed I had froze and moved himself away "I'm sorry that was too far" he said as he placed his head in his hands, I stayed there frozen for a few more minutes then I slowly laid down on my side.

"Cuddle me Eddie" I said getting comfy on the pillow  "what?" He said looking over at me. "Cuddle me, no I don't want to have sex right now but you did nothing wrong I just want cuddles" I said grabbing his arm and pulling him in to spoon me, I could feel his smile on my shoulder as he held me. I never wanted to move from this position.
