Chapter Fourteen : solid 3/10

Thursday 31st October 1985

I woke up still in Eddie's arms but in his bed this time, he must've woken up and carried me in. I looked over at the time to see it was 12pm "what the fuck" I said jumping up. "What babe?" Eddie said rubbing his eyes after I woke him up from jumping.

"It's 12pm babe!" I said stressing. "Babe you understand we don't have school this week right?" He said falling back to sleep, I just rolled my eyes and went to the kitchen to make myself some food.

I was sat down on the couch eating coco puffs watching the news when Eddie's uncle walked in "afternoon y/n" he said walking towards the fridge. "Afternoon Wayne" I responded with a mouthful of cereal. "Where's Eddie today then?" He asked whilst grabbing a glass of water "bed" I shrugged.

His uncle just chuckled and came to sit next  to me and watch the news, Eddie walked through to the living area "Uncle Wayne, Y/n" he said rubbing his eyes. "Afternoon" me and Wayne said in unison.

*little skip to the mall with Robin, Steve and Eddie*

"Sooo what costume you thinking?" Robin said whilst she linked her arm with mine "I'm not too sure maybe a dead cheerleader?" I giggled "that sounds awesome let's both do that!" Robin laughed.
"Zombie cheerleaders!" We both said in unison whilst the boys just sighed at us.

"Don't you think that's a bit on the petty side y/n?" Eddie said rubbing his face "no I don't actually" I said rolling my eyes why's he getting so defensive now? I looked at Robin and Steve who were just as confused but we moved on.

Me and Robin ran to get the stuff while the boys looked for their own stuff. "Eddie seems a bit weird when you say anything remotely similar to Chrissy" Robin said putting the outfits on the counter "tell me about it, maybe he still wants her? I don't know" I said as I put the fake blood on the counter.

We paid for the stuff and continued walking about. Grabbing slushes and soft pretzels. The boys met up with us. Steve was going as a musician and Eddie was going as himself. A guy in a metal band who hates parties "creative" I mumbled to myself which got a weird look off Eddie.

"I'm going Robins to get ready, can you meet me there to head to Steve's?" I asked Eddie. "Yeah sure whatever" he said shrugging. Definitely being off but I am not letting him ruin my day. I kissed his cheek and I left linking my arm with Robins.

*at Robins*

"Okay what the hell was his problem today?!" Robin asked "if only I knew! We got together last night like officially, we had a great date/one month anniversary and even this morning he was fine it wasn't till I mentioned the zombie cheerleader he got all mad!" I scoffed as I flopped down on her.

It was 7pm and Eddie was meeting us at 8pm so we started getting ready, by 7:45pm we was already ready just adding the final touches when we heard a knock at the door we ran down but it was just Steve "Eddie called saying he had something to do a deal? I don't know but he'll meet us at the party" Steve said shrugging his shoulders. Weird why didn't he call me? Whatever not letting him ruin my night. Me and Robin got in the car as Steve drove us to his.

"There's loads of people here already!" I exclaimed.
"Yeah the party started at 7:30pm" he laughed at me.
"Come on y/n!" Robin said as she practically dragged me out the car and into the party. Steve just laughed at us. We got in and went straight to the beers after about 2/3 drinks we decided to go dance in the middle of the floor. It was 9pm and I looked over to see Eddie walk in my face lit up till I looked next to him and See Chrissy holding his hand and I stopped dancing, "why did you st-" Robin stopped talking once she see what I was looking at "what the hell is with this guy!" She said grabbing my hand and taking me over to Steve.
