Chapter Nine : suck. it. up.

Friday 27th September 1985
Back to Y/N's POV

It had been nearly s full week of Eddie not talking to me and me not talking to Chrissy she was sitting at the hellfire table next to Eddie they was all touchy with each other it honestly broke my heart but I never sat alone I was always with Robin, I did always sit by myself in lessons apart from music and science as I had Robin.

It was finally lunch time and I walking over to sit with Robin again but I wasn't looking where I was going and crashed into someone "Jesus I am so sorry" I said quickly putting this back on my tray "it's fine" I heard a familiar voice I looked up and it was Jason "fuck sake" I mumbled under my breath. "I would say you got your FREAK to protect you but I know he's with Chrissy now" he started laughing at me which made my blood boil and I gripped onto my tray tighter "he's not a freak" I said through my teeth trying to not make a scene. "He is a freak" he said starting to over tower me "he is not a freak" I said quietly but sternly still not trying to attract attention.

"He is a freak, no wonder he used you for your body you're not even good enough for a freak" that was my final straw, I took the tray and swung bashing him over the head with it which made everyone look over including Eddie "I SAID HE IS NOT A FREAK" I yelled at him my blood was official boiled and there was no containing me. "HE IS A FREAK WHO USED YOU FOR YOUR BODY" Jason yelled back making everyone look over at us Eddie still watching "I SAID HE IS NOT A FUCKING FREAK YOU DOUCHE" I yelled as I swung my tray again but he stopped me grabbing my wrists. Eddie was watching he heard everything and my blood boiled more knowing he had to have told Chrissy he was using me for my body and that he wouldn't even help me when needed. I dropped the tray and Jason let go.

"You know what Jason?" I said still looking at Eddie. Loud enough so he can hear me but the whole cafeteria can't "he is a freak, a freak I loved who chose your girlfriend over me so honestly bully him but not my brother" I said as I left my tray on the floor walked over to Robin and sat down.

"Seriously?!" She said shocked at what happened. "Honestly!" I said rolling my eyes not wanting to bother with today. "Hey Harrington is having a party tomorrow be my date?" She said winking at me then we both giggled. "Gladly" I said as I took a bite of her sandwich as my lunch was all over the floor.

*end of school*

"Hey y/n" I heard a familiar voice calling over to me.
"Yeah?" I said turning round to see none other then Eddie. "No" I added once I see him and I turned back around. And headed for Steve's car. Eddie was left standing there in the middle of the car park as me and Robin got in Steve's car, they wasn't working today so we decided to have a movie night at Steve's place.

As we was walking round family video to find a movie I was looking in the horror section with Robin "you know if they had that fool me film you tainted Eddie with I'd watch it" I said giggling which made Robin laugh. We picked out nightmare on elm street "ah classic" she said laughing as we headed over to the counter to pay Kieth and Steve came running over with a a comedy "yano for after" he said with a faint smile. We was about to pay when *ding* I turned round to see Eddie and Chrissy holding hands. I looked at Robin at the same time she looked at me then I looked at Steve who looked at me at the same time. We all burst out laughing and paid for the films and left. When I was about to get into Steve's car I see Dustin run up to me.

"Y/n! Y/n!" He yelled out grabbing my arm "yes dusty?" I said weirded out. "Need sub d&d tonight" he said out of breath. "You want ME to sub? For Lucas? Tonight? For d&d? With Eddie there?" I said looking at Steve and Robin who was trying to hold in their laughs. "No" I said as I turned round "please we don't have anyone else plus you haven't hung out with Eddie and Chrissy is agesss" he said trying to beg me to play, I shot back round and looked at him "Chrissy will be there?" I said tilting my head "uh yeah she's come to the games this week her and Eddie have this little thing going on it's weird" he said shrugging. I looked at Robin who immediately understood what I was going to do "I'll come" I said smiling "haven't seen them in ages" I kissed Dustin's head and got in the car "see you there at 9pm don't tell them I'm coming though" I added as I shut the door.

Me and Robin burst into laughter and Steve was confused as usually so me and Robin explained and he quickly understood and agreed, it was 5pm so I had 4 hours to watch the films and go.
"Do you even know how to play d&d?" Steve said as we was munching the popcorn waiting for nightmare to start. "Yeah Dustin used to explain it to me over the phone and he showed me when I came back" I said shrugging. It looked complicated at first but it was quite easy.

*D&D campaign*

I met Dustin outside the school as Steve gave me a lift and I told him to come pick me up about 2am and he nodded and went on his own way. Dustin was explaining Eddie's campaign to me so I could quickly adjust and in all fairness I was only going to mess with Eddie and Chrissy not to bother playing properly.

We walked into the room when Eddie looked me dead in the eye, I wasn't stupid though. Before I got Steve to go to his we stopped off at night for an outfit, a slutty outfit at that, which made all the boys stare at me, I threw my hair into a low messy bun with strands hanging out and did some Smokey liner and dark red lipstick I also put on a black crushed velvet mini dress that showed off my cleavage and had a slit on my thigh, I also worse thigh high leather boots with a leather jacket.

"Absolutely not" Eddie said still staring at me with Chrissy on his lap. That wound me up a little bit I let it slide. "Suck it up Eddie or postpone I don't really care" I said crossing my arms smirking.
"Whatever" he said as we started the campaign. Every time I would roll the dice I would bend over enough to show my boobs that everyone would notice especially Eddie and to bonus it off he was getting clearly jealous when the boys would stare, Dustin kept rolling his eyes everytime I did.

One of the boys rolled into too hard and it flew to the other side of the room "I'll get it" I said smiling as I got up and walked over "17" I yelled over to them which got mixed responses from the boys I bent down to grab it and noticed everyone apart from
Dustin staring, I remembered how when I bend in this dress the bottom of my butt showed. I smirked as I stood back up and walked back over.

*time skip to after the game finished*

We won, barely but we did. Everyone was packing up to leave and it was 1:30am. Dustin was spending the night at mikes so Nancy was picking them up and Gareth, Jeff and Kevin all went together on their bikes. It was just me, Chrissy and Eddie left. "You not going?" Chrissy said looking at her feet, "nope it's 1:30am my ride doesn't get here till 2am" I said smiling putting my legs up on the table. "My ride should be here by now I'll see you tomorrow?" Chrissy said to Eddie as she kissed him on the cheek and left.

"Just us left" I said looking at Eddie, he stared at me for a few minutes before "I didn't use you for your body" he said as he was packing up the game. "I don't really care if you did. It was still the best night of my life" I said as I picked up his dice and started playing with them.

"The best night of your life? Then why did you talk to me as a dare?" He said clearly getting mad. "Who told you that? Little Chrissy?" I said laughing. "No Jason" he said getting more angry. "Chrissy was telling Jason everything you told her, how I'm a freak and you didn't want Dustin around me and you regret spending the weeke-" I cut him off before he could finish "you believed Jason?! I slept with you! And you believed JASON! I beat him up for you and you BELIEVED JASON?! YOU DID NOT EVEN TALK TO ME YOU JUST BELIEVED THE GUY WHO HAS DEDICATED HIS LIFE TO TORMENTING YOU?!" I yelled at him getting angrier with each word. He stood there shocked realising he never did speak to you about it. "And as for Dustin! If I didn't want him around you I would speak to him not fucking Chrissy! But doesn't matter anyways you're with little kids backstabber now" I said as I threw the dice on the table and got up to leave.

I got to the door and turned round to look at him. "Just to let you know Ed's that weekend was the best time I've ever had in my life" I said as a year started rolling down my face and I left the room, as I started walking down the hallway I felt a arm grab me and turn me round. "I'm sorry" he said but before I could answer he grabbed me and kissed me I wanted to push back but I couldn't I needed this he was like my drug, we started deepening the kiss I pulled away for a second to breathe I looked down at my watch and see the time 2:05am "SHIT" I yelled "I gotta go" I added as I kissed him one last time and ran down the hallway out to the the parking lot and jumped in Steve's car "took you long enough" he laughed as he drove off "your lipstick is smudged" he said giggling "I'll tell you and Robin at the party tomorrow" I said smiling away.
